The biggest indicator of a lack of knowledge is the "it's the refs fault" line trotted out so easily by so many after a loss.

Yes we get penalised more than other teams. Yes we get the rough end of calls at times. The only thing you can do is get on with the game and prove to others that you don't deserve to be hated.

Whinging is only going to make people hate you more. It doesn't win you friends and it doesn't influence anyone.

Expect to be hated - play hard, smash hard and never give in. Look at Manly and the way they go about things. Such a professional team. If we can be like them, some of the fifty fifties will start going our way.

For all our supporters complaining, it's not going to help you and it won't change the result. Try looking forward to this week's game.

Gonna put an end to this arguement as a Roosters Supporter.

Put aside 2 calls the slam and knock on try sharks still win the game its done the better team won and the roosters will come back next week and the titans will suffer for it.

The meltdown from some (not all) Rooster fans after one loss is incredible. Don't blame the ref for that one. Sharks were so far and away the better team in that first half of the game and they held on in the second to deservedly win. To the OP. It is ridiculous to look back at certain instances in the game, take points off and come up with a hypothetical result, particularly when the instances you are whinging about are not as obvious as you think they are. For instance your point #2 is just wrong.
In conclusion, take your loss and be happy with your position on the table. You were not dudded. You were beaten by a more determined team on the night.

About f**king time a team got penalised for blocking chasers on a bomb. Every team does it - just stick half a dozen players in front of the fullback/winger making it almost impossible for any chaser to contest the ball.

It's funny, coz Beau was so scared of SBW he literally shat himself and had to go off and didn't come back on for the rest of the game.

As for the Sharks they have got a very tough and skillful pack of forwards that can match it with any other pack in the NRL, and Luke Lewis is one of the most supremely talented players.

They totally ambushed us in the first half and gave us a bashing, and Gallen does what Gallen does best, he got down and dirty and got under our skin. Sharks played great and deserved to win

We will learn a stack from that game, and it will have been a big help in getting us ready for the intensity of finals footy.

Sure. It had nothing to do with Jennings shoulder concussing him...

As for the rest of your post - I agree.
We hit hard in the opening, and the 40/20 gave the team a good confidence boost (as well as the try that followed).

It was the perfect time for the Roosters to lose. A reality check, a couple of weeks before the finals so they aren't going in fresh off a loss and are able to regroup and head for the premiership.
