Sharks v Roosters... Refereeing won Cronulla that game

If RTS try was awarded, it's 26-18, with the sharks shitting themselves . They looked for a decoy....no problem, they looked at his foot...all good.

They had to find something, the sharks player was never going to stop SBW . The strip was a massive game turner. Sharks scored 12 points as a result. Unfortunately for Cronulla, finals aren't play at their pissy little home ground.

This Nissan ad is really bugging me now.

I can tell you how to fix it.

Nar f**k it

You got smashed, man up and accept it, teams cop bad calls every game, its not like you didn't get enough penalties to win.

Another person that doesn't realise the importance of when/where penalties are given. Sharks gave away 2 or 3 within a few minutes on the first tackle on their own goal line, they mean nothing. Most shark penalties were piggy-backs

I know there are some fair minded Rooster supporters out there, but in my 40+ years of watching the game, I don't think I've ever seen such an outpouring of grief and whining as I have today. It's unbelievable.

just watched a bit of he scond half and the RTS no try was a terrible call.

imo the sharks wont get reffing like that in the finals and they will get found out if they are not stripped of their points before them for being a bunch of peptide monkeys.

also gallen stomps on somes arm then trips over his arm when the guy gets up to play the ball and has a whinge at the ref, hes just a dope.

You could have kicked the goal like the sharks did when the rooters gave away penalties.

You forgot to add 'I'm not a Roosters fan but...'

I guess some Roosters fans are finding it hard to come to terms with the fact their team was beaten by a better side on the night.

When everyone has a go at you, you can end up getting a complex
It's the only thing I can come up with

Yes we get penalised more than other teams. Yes we get the rough end of calls at times. The only thing you can do is get on with the game and prove to others that you don't deserve to be hated.

Whinging is only going to make people hate you more. It doesn't win you friends and it doesn't influence anyone.

Expect to be hated - play hard, smash hard and never give in. Look at Manly and the way they go about things. Such a professional team. If we can be like them, some of the fifty fifties will start going our way.

This game however typified how bad and inconsistent the referees actually are.

Cronulla won that game by playing a near perfect first half. Although it must be remembered that Cronulla did not score a try in the second half (granted they opted to take conversions).

It was billed as the best Monday night game this year and delivered that. Refereeing had nothing to do with the result. Easts are still equal favourites with Melbourne.

Wish I could get odds on the roosters to smash them in the semis if they play. Off game by the chooks. False hope for the sharkies. Though I will say the sharks are the beat of the rest outside the top 4. Better than the dogs sans Barba. But still not a genuine premiership threat imo

the lack of knowledge out there is scary hey. no wonder the game is in the position it is. half the muppets commenting on this thread are calling this a roosters supporter whinging, yet im not even a roosters supporter.

the refereeing as a whole is getting worse. the best refereed games are the NSW Cup, no video refs and 1 guy on the field. go figure.

im not denying the sharkies didnt play good, i couldnt care less if the roosters lose every game here on in.

refereeing however did have alot to do with the result. the decisions that these referees are getting wrong shift momentum and change games. less heighington try plus shrek try, its an even ball game... thats without all of the other 50/50 calls that just happened to go to the sharks...

who said it was the best monday night game? it was far from, the refereeing ruined that. its concerning how little people notice the influence the refs have controlling momentum of the game.

That no try was 10 times more blatant than the one the sharks had
dissallowed against the dragons.
Gallen was in the line and creagh ran into him on purpose to cause the interference.

The roosters players actually impeded the sharks defender.

Shit rule

But it is the rule.

Losers whinging about the refs all the time are annoying.

Winners whinging about people whinging about the refs and refusing to acknowledge that some things may have gone in their favour are also annoying.

That about sums it up imo

Honestly I reckon the Sharks will give this finals a good shake, good luck to them, BUT if you fail I will be there to rub it in.
