Yeah I really like JT too, though I disagreed with some of his views on NSW Player Retention last week on Sterlo or whatever, but as a general rule the guy has a good track record, in any case id love to see him get a go, but i think hes under contract of sorts?

Whether he has a clause to get out if offered a 1st grade position, or if he is promised one where he is? Well I dont know.. but certainly havent heard his name mentioned in the media at all.

He is contracted as a assistant to the rooters but I would take his open statement that he would only leave for a head coachs position that there is some type of agreement in place
He would be super keen to prove Rusty wrong, Jesus he was pissed when he was let go at shite sydney

JT has a better record than Price has that is for sure. Coaches Eels for 16 games and won 10. 63%. Coaches Souths 2007 - 2009 73 games and won 31 games. All up coached 89 games for 41 wins. His 1st year at Souths got them to the Finals. His first 2 years were pretty impressive. His 3rd and 4th years were not as good but similar to Prices first 2 and he got punted. Hope the same happens to Price because Souths show that they do not accept poor performances where as Saints may be a bit more lenient.

I really don't want sheens, would take JT has proven to be a good coach as well as an astute judge.Would have liked Kevvie Walters but it looks like he will be going to the cowboys.

What about Neil Henry anyone he is soon to be available & would be an improvement?

I disagree...he may not be the best available option, but would be an improvement on Price and better than Sheens.

What makes you say that? A team with the likes of JT, Bowen and Sims to name a few should be fighting for a top 4 spot instead of struggling to make the 8 each year.

They were 1 dodgy decision away from a qualifying finals spot last year, and this year they struggle on the back of Bowen aging getting on, Tamou being distracted, no decent hooker and the continue fight to find JT a halves partner.
Look at the players who have improved under Henry - Tamou became one of the best props in the league, emergence of T.Sims, improvements of Linnett, Graham, etc.

Henry has a winning % of just under 50% from Canberra and North QLD (teams that 'traditionally' struggle away from home due to climate changes, long trips, etc) in 6 years of coaching. He may not be the best in the business, but he is an improvement on Price and much better than Sheens IMO. With the squad we are looking at next year, he should be able to do quite well.

Interesting to see what Henry could do with a squad like ours this year.

We'll soon see if Price is as good as Henry when he gets the players he wants next year

Fair point...How about Tamou, Tate, Scott, Lui, Johnson, Winterstein, Graham.

You still think they should be struggling?

Tate and Tamou yeah. A meh to the rest.

Henry is a better coaching option than Price at the moment regardless of the players you reel off.

Goodness, is Price going to be here next year.

Wish the report read "Price gets the sack from the Dragons".
