What about Tony Smith? Apparently he has huge raps in England. Maguire and Robinson have done OK coming from England not sure why Tony Smith won't.

I would have loved the Saints to have given Barrett a go till the end of the season to see what he has. He may come good and I am sure will be cheap as chips as he would be greatful for the chance. If he goes OK offer him a couple of years. This season is over so it is a good chance to give the rookie coaches a run for 6 games to see what they have.

Tony Smith would be best case scenario, got all the right tools and has clearly put them to practice in the ESL. I would honestly even give Brian McLennan a shot - sure he stuffed up at the Warriors, but TBH they are an enigma of a team, takes specific type of coach to get the best out of them...

Doust will save money by not paying out Price's contract. We all know that, basically, Doust is stingy. If Doust sacked Price it would be admitting that Doust himself made another big mistake, like signing Bennett for 3 years instead of 5.

For the record that is BS the "wanted 5 got 3" ...Bennett came to "do a job". Doust discussed this at length at the forum...5 years was never mentioned w Bennett, its an untruth.
