nope, played for St George I think

he's only ever played 1 game for NSW I think

think he was about 18 at the time, he filled in for a injured player

thats him, has he turned into a dud ?

you would think 150 on debut would be worth at least another game

He played 1 game for the sixers in the big bash just finished. Got out first ball trying to slog.

NSW batting looks a little thin.

Chris Tremain looked pretty decent for the Thunder, interesting to see if he can bowl with the red ball.

Average quick at best.
Dawson is a keeper.. Better not be in there a a bat because.. He's no good.

he's also about 30 and Neville is named as well, so he must just be there as a batsman

Okeefe take 3/52 off 28 overs meaning he has now taken 12 wickets at an average of 30.25 with a S/R of 72 (E/R 2.38). Took both openers on a day one pitch and bowls stump to stump with good flight and pace variation. This is the kind of spinner that does well in india. If this is not good enough to go to india then the aussie selectors have lost the plot.

Yep.

And he's good enough to bat at No.7 if need be.

SOK should have been picked before Doherty and Beer, no idea how they got in front of him.

Hope henriques has a big game as well, he would be a good alrounder to bat at 6 and replace Hussey if Watson isn't going to bowl.

Yeah, not sure of O'Keefes effectiveness in say england, bit round arm, but he should be on the plane to India

If he is the most effective spinner on Australian soil then he doesn't have to worry to much. The reality is that he is the only spinner that has shown an ability to keep it tight and get top order wickets.
Lyon currently is the number one spinner but okeefe should be the second cab off the rank for conditions that require a second spinner.
In England where swing predominates Henriques is a must imo, attacking swing bowler who makes it a habit of breaking partnerships and averages 18 this year per wicket and 76ish with the bat. Also he avg 27 with the ball his whole shield career which is not far off Siddle and better the Johnson.
