Should matches be switched

Should happen, but probably won't. Why would Aussie Stadium settle for a final that might draw 25,000 when they can hold on and get the final that will sell out?

I can't work out why both prelim finals aren't already penciled in for Telstra Stadium.

The NRL must do everything in its power to get the Tigers v Dragons game to Telstra Stadium. It's amazing how often the more heavily supported final has ended up at Aussie Stadium over the years. It's f**king annoying actually.

MOVE THE GAME SO 30,000 plus extra FANS CAN GET IN!!!! Don't turn away your fans NRL!

Anyone who thinks it matters with regards to 'neutral venues' is f**king delusional. Sydney isn't 'neutral' unless you're hosting a game like last night's Melbourne vs. North Queensland clash.

Telstra wouldn't be 'home' for Wests any more than it would be 'home' for St. George/Illawarra. Both teams have fans who can get to the ground easily and sell it out.

Why should St George, who came second, give a home ground advantage to the Tigers?

Home ground advantage???? It gives the tens of thousands of St George supporters who won't be able to get tickets... GET THEM!!!!
I already got my tickets, so either way i'm sweet!! BUT FOR GOODNESS Sakes move the game!

Not a chance in hell will they or should they change it.

It takes away the minor premiers advantage of getting to play at the 'Grand Final Stadium' , should they make it that far.

The bowl of Telstra Stadium holds about 50,000 while the entire Aussie stadium doesn't hold that much. So people who have tickets will have to change them all, and most will get worse seats than they aloready had.

Also from a Parra supporters point of view, it will give Hindmarsh 1 less day of recovery.

It can't be changed.

And why are there St George supporters bringing up "Some fans may miss out" Dragons Vs Parra at Oki, no Dragons fans wanted that changed.

As long as the Dragons club is willing, go for it. They can probably work out some sort of deal with Aussie to split the extra profit.

Yeh think they will most likely need permission from all 4 clubs. Cowboys wouldnt care less, Tigers would prefer it as they play home games there. Fitzgerald could be an idiot and say no homebush is closer whatever, Dragons could argue they lose home ground advantage to tigers i suppose

If its going to happen will have to be announced by tomorrow morning id say

I think Phil Gould got it wrong with his question "Where are they going to fit all the Dragons fans?"

The Dragons fans already have their tickets. It's the Tigers fans that will miss out so why would the Dragons want to swap the game to one of their oponents home grounds?

I think i posted in the heat of the moment, and thinking about it....and after gus' comments "where are the Dragons fans going to fit?" ive changed my tune.

See, Dragons fans have already got their tickets, and id say it was almost sold out before todays game (i rang b4 todays match and could only get 3 seats waaay up the back). St George deserve the majority of support, and have earned the right to do so. Tigers are an amazing team, and great support today but it doesnt change a thing, Just because the Ch9 di*kheads call for a change of venue, doesnt make it right. If the NRL had any sense they wouldve scheduled both prelim finals at Telstra at the start of the year.

They were not going to change the days, just the venues so the Hindmarsh arguement don't hold water. I would think that Aussie Stadium would be compensated by Telstra stadium as part of the deal (if one was to go ahead). Its a bit of a logistical nightmare but it would be done and should be doen for the good of the game.

Transfer the tickets. It's no big deal.

It's this sort of ridiculous shortsightedness that will see maybe 20,000 at Telstra to see Eels-Cowboys whilst the SFS sells out Wests-Illawarra with another 50,000 turned away.

Rubbish. It wasn't even a sellout today and you reckon 50,000 will be turned away next week?
