Should this be a concern for Knight's fans?

Basically R69 and skeepe both woke up with sore asses one time after a night in Newcastle, unbeknownst to each other their respective forum identities, and have foolishly been blaming the town ever since. Andrew Johns recorded the whole thing and hence the hatred was born :-$

Miscellaneous and to-this-day undefined bad experiences in life are limited to Newcastle. True story.

many, many bad experience's
people, town and players included. I've seen it at its worst

much like many have been involved in canberra, but i am, as most, a product of my experinece. My experiences in newcastle are not good.
Showstopper is a knob end, of that im sure

And conversely I have had many, many awesome experiences with the people the town and the players. I have had nothing but crap experiences with Canberra (only been there once) but I don't hate Canberra or the people or their team. YUou sound a little bit precious and if things aren't just how you like them they deserve hatred?

At least Canberra and Newcastle are fundamentally different kinds of places. You couldn't pay me to live in Canberra but I guess I can sort of understand how someone might have different personal preferences.

Wollongong is just a smaller, dirtier, poorer and more industrial version of Newcastle. Not sure on what criteria anyone could possibly rate it higher.

Newcastle has not got SHIT on Redfern. Been working here a week now... and f**k... if you went around all the Newcastle and greater Hunter/Central Coast region, gathered up all the most pathetic species you could find and gathered them in one place... Redfern would still be miles ahead.

I thought people just liked dumping shit on Redfern, but the place is a f**king hole. Sydney has a lot to answer for, letting this happen.

I've lived in both. The only people who like Wollongong better are the poor fools who grew up there and have some misplaced sentimental attachment to it. It is an objectively horrible city.

Guess there was always a chance of something like this happening when you get in to bed with the likes of Tinkler

Thankfully Tew seemed to have protected your mob quite well. As much as i loathe the town, their team and their fans, i wouldnt want anyone to lose their footy club, so hopefully the knights come of of this, at the very least a little bit better off then when Tinkler got them.

Genuine question, is any of this likely to effect Bennett's deal?
I wonder how many, if any such as Boyd or new signings like Smith and Scott have one of those "Bennett leaves" clauses

You choice to be an Eagles fan is very fitting.

I think it is a mentality shared by Philli and Canberra locals.

We were wondering what that smell was and now that its gone we are eternally grateful for your departure from the Illawarra region.

I hope I'm not the only one on who here who is genuinely worried. When the ATO is involved you get concerned big time. They are completly ruthless when it comes to chasing money owed to them and will have no remorse about who they wind up in the process. I'm sorry but those who are saying that it will be paid and the club's future is in no danger. I'll believe it when I see it.
