Well...an interesting dilemma...Woolnough, Gordon, Rooney, Paulo due back next week....what would your team be?

1. COOTE, Lachlan
2. GORDON, Michael
3. JENNINGS, Michael
4. TIGHE, Brad
5. WESSER, Rhys
6. GRAHAM, Wade
7. LEWIS, Luke
8. PULETUA, Tony
9. IOSEFA, Masada
10. CIVONICEIVA, Petero
11. PRITCHARD, Frank
12. WATERHOUSE, Trent
13. SMITH, Nathan

RES:
14. WOOLNOUGH, Adam
15. BELL, Matthew / GRANT, Tim
16. MOORS, Junior
17. BLAIR, Maurice

Left out Rooney...I think Wesser was great on the wing and showed why we need speed there.

Put Blair on the bench and put Tighe back to Centres...but can rotate either way...

Whether Bell or Grant...either one.

Paulo and Grant go back to NYC.

However, I fear...the team we'll name next week:

1. Wesser, 2. Rooney, 3. Jennings, 4. Tighe, 5. Gordon, 6. Blair, 7. Lewis, 8. T.Puletua, 9. Priddis, 10. Civoniceiva, 11. Pritchard, 12. Waterhouse, 13. Smith
RES: 14. Woolnough, 15. Bell, 16. Moors, 17. Iosefa

With Coote and Graham going back to NYC to "Improve their development"

Coote might go back next week (though I don't think he should) but I don't see Graham going back.

Before reading your post I was inclined towards Tighe and Rooney being the odd man out with the return of Gordon but I agree Blair can fit in well on the bench.

Personally I expect Elliott just to name everyone and figure it out later

I'd like to see Priddis back in the starting team. Iosefa could do some real damage off the bench.

Nathan Smith frustrated the hell out of me today. I wouldn't mind seeing Blair get a run at lock.

I think Blair off the bench might be a good option for us. He could cover backrow to centre, and he would certainly have impact from the bench.

Agreed. I thought Wesser did a great job on the wing. Although he was found out with the sideline spacing a few times, I think a few more games on the wing and he'll be fine. One of his best games of the season I thought. Plus I love the way Coote backs up the plays from fullback, reminds me of Wade Graham a few years back, it's what we need to create off Pritchard and Puletua.

But it's at CUA Stadium... we absolutely suck at home.

My money is on Panthers outplaying the Knights for the most part, but some Kurt Gidley magic to get them home in a close game. You guys are an 80 minute team... we aren't.

Fugg me, we have a massive selection dilemma this week.

We have a crapload of good outside backs.

I thought Wesser was gone, but his game from the wing was pretty good. Only blemmish was hesitating before going for the corner post of Graham's pass.

I think Rooney is gone, he just isn't up tp the standard of our other backs. We're going to struggle to get Gordon back into the side since Tighe and Blair have been playing quite well out on the right hand side.

My attempt at a team

1) Coote
2) Gordon
3) Tighe
4) Jennings
5) Wesser
6) Graham
7) Lewis

8) Petero
9) Masada
10) Puletua
11) Pritchard
12) Waterhouse
13) Blair

14) Priddo
15) Moors
16) Grant
17) Rodney

I like you side Munky. Blair at lock would be good. Smith doesnt deserve to be dropped though in my opinion but where do you put him. There's no room for him on the bench either.

Blair at lock brings him closer to the action on the fifth tackle which means he can kick instead of Lewis.

Blair actually has a kicking game and can get us repeat sets.

Lewis's passing has improved and he actually looks a little like a halfback at the moment rather than a straight stop gap.

He is working very well with Wade Graham. That try he set up for Pritcard was pure magic.

1. Lachlan Coote
2. Rhys Wesser/Brad Tighe
3. Michael Jennings
4. Maurice Blair
5. Michael Gordon

6. Luke Lewis
7. Wade Graham

8. Tony Puletua
9. Masada Iosefa
10. Petero Civoniceva (c)
11. Frank Pritchard
12. Trent Waterhouse
13. Nathan Smith

14. Jarrod Sammut
15. Junior Moors
16. Tim Grant/Matt Bell
17. Shane Rodney

I think Adam Woolnough needs a few weeks at Windsor to get match fit and earn his first grade jersey.

Jarrod Sammut can come off the bench and push Luke Lewis into the backrow. Use him for impact.

The backline is hard to pick. Lachlan Coote will most likely get dropped to fit Michael Gordon into the side. None of the players really deserve to be dropped... but Michael Gordon is our most consistant back. And if he could get the same sort of ball that our backs got against the Eels, he will carve up the Knights wingers.

not sure why people want blair on the bench. He is a good defender but has very little in attack. So would offer no impact of the bench.Do not change the team
Graham gaining confidence had his best game
blair in the centers controlled inu, hayne burt
wesser on the wing played well and when given room we looked dangerous
the forwards looked good backed each other up well

I don't think Blair was 100% fit an well on the weekend. IMO he would add great impact from the bench, and make room for Coote, Graham and Wesser all in the starting side.

The other option is Blair to Lock and Smith to drop to the bench.
