But his form has been heaps down in the past 18 months. Age?

Well, I guess we'll find out today if it is Hayne..

JARRYD Hayne — crack a cold one and spread your wings.

The Plane is back and has cause for celebration.

Not only did he produce magic in his successful State of Origin return but he’s made a decision on his $1.2 million NRL option with Gold Coast.

The only problem is, he’s still not telling.

Coy when asked what the future holds, Hayne confirmed he made a decision on his future on Tuesday night but we won’t know what it is until Thursday.

“The Titans will put out an announcement (on Thursday),” Hayne said after the match.

“I want to give them the respect to do that.”

With no other interest from rival NRL clubs, Hayne is expected to accept his option for another season on the Gold Coast.

Yeah I wouldn't worry about the contract things these days Tom
Millward only needs to put it out there - we are looking for a marquee fullback or prop - to all player managers and let the player manager do the work for their client.

I would like to see Hayne or Fifita as our target. It seems we really missed an opportunity as far as Tedesco is concerned.

Ok, everyone seems to be getting stuck into the jungle juice, so here goes my effort.

Its.................... Boyd.

He's not happy that Bird is getting a million, and he has an exit clause in his contract if Bennet leaves.

Now for the steak knives, Bennet or JD are coming too!

Anyway the Blues are winning.
Wow, I have mentioned the Bennett possibility in the past however, things seemed to have settled at the Broncos. Would not that be a great move, Bennett and Boyd to the Dragons in 2018. Millward to report to Bennett.

Christmas has come early for the Possm if this were the case.

Even Nabuli is playing better than Folau.

Can't believe the hype about Hayne
Left the Eels while under contract
Left the NFL while under contract
Expected a walk up start for Fiji 7's in the Olympics.
Didn't get a start so walked away from them despite saying how much he wanted to be a part of it all and loving all the prayers and camaraderie.
Titans give him an entry back to the NRL and he is possibly willing to walk away from them despite being on big $$$.
So many people willing him to come here, how would you feel if he does the same thing whilst under contract to us.
We have a habit of bagging anyone who leaves the Dragons, let alone walk away from them and what about the shit being dished out about Packer and Dugan supposedly owing us and how dare they.
Hayne has owed plenty of people some loyalty and has walked away from them and people here are willing to forgive, forget and get him here talk about hypocrites.
The guy has bad form in this area and is an air head every so often about what he wants to do.
Tickle his ego and bank account and he is off.
Warning Will Robinson Warning

You are correct but also should include that Hayne stuck with a dead beat Eels side for many years; until he got the call to try our at the NFL.

Hayne is not walking out on the Titans, if he leaves he will be exercising an option in his contract, saving the Titans plenty of cap space.

Our aim should be to replace like with like or better. Hayne fits that policy however, our coach would then have to find a way to promote our best juniors. It seems that one of our best, Dufty, has already found himself on the outer as he has not been given an opportunity at fullback even though there was a short term vacancy and he has been performing extremely well at fullback in reserve grade leading up to that vacancy.

Player recruitment/promotion is not our biggest problem. Our coach is the single biggest problem we have at the moment.
