Your just really don't get it
I’ll just leave that there..
Your just really don't get it or maybe you do and just don't admit it.
AFB pled guilty to charges and was given a pathway as to when he could return to the NRL so all things were on the table and his contrition was deserving of rehabilitation. No commercial decision was made but as I said I could understand it if they had made it whilst not agreeing with it.
JDB at this time is guilty of nothing but unable to play with no certainty around when he can play so the commercial reality is no different to if he had a long term injury.
His future is clouded with no certainty and the club suffers as a result of that so make a hard nosed decision and get someone in the squad who can play. Keeping in mind we are down a high quality rep footballer for an entire season plus.
Commercial reality is not always the outcome you would like but is more than often the most sensible from a business perspective.
As mentioned to you(r) hours ago, you’re happy to accept a guilty man with open arms but willing to discard a potentially innocent man to the scrap heap.
This makes no sense.
You also clearly stated in your defence of AFB that you believed it was commercial but that you disagreed with making a commercial decision to discard a player.
They’re your words, there in writing.
I’m just curious to know why you’ve changed your position.
As also mentioned to you(r) hours ago, the reason Jack can’t play is due to the NRL, not the Dragons. Sacking him at this point would leave us open to a legal case with more commercial ramifications than keeping him.
How do you not get this?
