Gareth O'Brien field goal 83'

Leigh win 1-0.

- Lowest scoring game of the Super League era (1-0)
- First 1-0 score in professional rugby league since Barrow v Hull KR in 1994/95.

An upset to start the season! Well done Leigh. Looking forward to watching what sounds like a massive defensive effort from both teams.

I really enjoyed watching that game. Some tremendous defence. Attack was a bit down but its the beginning of the year and the good defence had a lot to do with it.
The jump by Lam to get a hand to the kick in the dying minutes of regular time was a game saver.
