Probably not even the best Centre/Fullback to play together. Meninga-Mullins has them. But that doesnt take away from what tremendous players they are

Inglis in particular could go down as one of the best of all time. I'd give my right AND left to see him in the lime green. Star.

Inglis is better then Mal but hasnt had the length of career to be rated above him (yet), while its the opposite for Billy and Brett.

Not a chance Inglis is a freak and will go down as one of the best ever Slater is decent but nothing too special if all Fullbacks in the NRL were fit and playing their best football Slater would even get a look in for Queensland or Australia.

Inglis is one of the best ever. However, I don't think Slater is. There's too many mistakes in slater for mine.

Don't agree with your comments on Slater.
He makes a few mistakes like all good players, but he takes his chances and they usually pay off. Rather have a player doing this than standing back waiting for things to happen.
Slater will be up there with one of the greats in rugby league when he retires, as will GI.

Slater is an over-rated hack. All he has is pace. Any fullback would be dominant behind the pack the Storm have..

Oh thank you!! I do not think that grubby little merkin is as good as he is talked up to be.
You watch how many 1% plays he does, he is all about ME and trying to look like the hero, as flukey as some of the sh*t he pulls off is he's not someone I would want in my team

Arguably, yes. Inglis + anyone is just about as good as any combo given we're talking about a future Immortal. Like the GREAT ones, he makes players around him better.

Like running in front of an infield bound Hayne to pick up a kick, and head straight for the sideline!

I dunno who you blokes are that think Slater is over-rated. "He's only got pace." Blistering pace, agreed. He does everything at a speed that I've never seen before.

"He's all about me, me me." Thats why if you watch him play live, he is running his arse off all day, backing up every play, sprinting around in defence. He runs more metres for his selfish self then anyother player I've ever seen. Up there with Phil Blake, and no I'm not a manly fan, a melbourne fan OR an Australian fan for that matter!

Slater makes mistakes. I couldn't beleive the hounding he got from OZ supporters for one mistake in the world cup final. I think he had a major hand in about 3 of Oz's tries though. He does attempt 1% options, but gets away with them 90% of the time. A freak.

Ingles, well still young, but he is pretty good. The best? Time yet will tell.

Halves.. Lewis/Langer. Outside backs, agree with Gasnier/Langlands. Both immortals, and Langlands sh*ts on Slater from great heights.

Star? I take it you are being sarcastic. Turner is the worse player ever to pull on the Blues jersey.

I don't think Turner is that bad a player.

He was just playing outside the worst defender to ever wear a blue jersey.

Halves - Sterling/Lewis was better than Lewis/Langer. In club footy, Langer/Walters was better than Lewis/Langer, who never made a finals together. Still put Sterling/Kenny above 'em all - Daley/Stuart was good too. Best ever - Johns/Fittler.

There are probably not many better club 1/4 combos as Melbourne's - Fairfax/Harris comes close too from memory.

Claiming Inglis is an immortal in waiting is a bit rich - Joey has to be immortalised first, and I suspect Heather will be next after him. Inglis is only one stupid decision away from being another SBW - and forgotten. He's in the same camp too, and has bonehead traits like SBW did. For Inglis to be spoken of in the future in the same terms as Gasnier, Sterling and Kenny his minders need to keep him trouble free for the rest of his career. Tough ask imho.
