My concern here is that the views of moderators seem to have more validity on this board than others.Moderators can delete posts or even banish posters from the board for poor form.But it seems that the same rules don't apply to them.Surely the role of moderator should carry a responsibility with it.BTW I have found this on other forums on the LU.
Suity,there may be new people coming to the board voicing opinions but this thread,and most similar ones ,was not started by a new poster.But I wonder how many of them would choose this thread,with the possibility of getting the abuse that some ppl have to endure.

and i truely believe there may be a re-shuffle in the coaching ranks at Parra and any change is a s good as a holiday in my opinion

Mate I have no problem with constructive criticism, my problem lies with the repeditiveness, my name being slandered, lies being told about me, every thread degenerating into a "it's all Smiths fault" thread with the same old lines dragged out and my own support of the eels being questioned.
But i'm with you, 2005 is looking the best for some time ... on paper, let's hope some things start to go our way and we have a relatively injury free run and start to put some combinations and performances together.
I for one am looking forward to my trips across to Aussie to cheer my beloved team on.

I think we all have our own ideas on what has gone wrong and what needs to be done to make us a force again. Just because there are people who still believe in Smith doesn't make them losers or mean they accept mediocrity.
I'm encouraged the club is visibly taking steps to get back on track. We have made some major upgrades to our team. Our coaching staff has been given a some fresh blood. Let's hope these changes take us to where we want to be.
There's always next year because baring a whole lotta salary cap breachs it ain't gonna be this year #-o

Sportive, I think I have deleted one post this year, and made only about 2 edits - one I think was from a request via PM from you ages ago (maybe last year) - another was recently when a Storm fan came here with abuse. I certainly don't delete posts to win arguments - far from it. I could quite easily delete GP's or Strider's latest garbage, but whet right do I have to do that? Damned if you do....

BTW, there are 3 mods here - we an all delete each others posts. Admin can delete ours, so to alledge that we are unmoderated, and a world of our own, is wrong. Dead wrong.

With all due respect, I steered clear from all debate and was abused for not taking part or giving up my position on the matter, or in your own words "not hanging around to fight by my beliefs"
Well mate i'd like to say, that I am in a no win position, I have very similar views to both mits, strider and a few others and i maintained them for years as you well know on both the previous board and this one. My views along with a few others views caused great debates and eventually mud flinging etc and I copped a lot of abuse from a lot of people because of it, so i did the decent thing and ceased from arguing for the sake of the board.
Then I get flak from people, yourself included for not fighting for my beliefs, the same situation strider has found himself in lately.
Now as you say enough is enough, but im afraid there is only so much crap I will put up with in relation to baiting and goading and name calling which seems to be a specialty of our friend Misty who just can't leave it alone.
I even sent a special request to the Colonel to have a word to Misty to leave my name out of his posts and I would cause no arguments, but still he has to continue, and lastly, you know me well enough and long enough to know i'm a reasonable person and of my support of the Parramatta club as a whole is genuine, put the boot on the other foot and how would you respond to such comments against yourself and the continual baiting. There is only so much that i will sit back and let flow past, and when he starts to question my staus as a fan or supporter, then that is ENOUGH
Personally I have had enough from him and agree with Strider whole heartedly, his position as a moderator is a complete joke, i still recall when he lied about me last time this all blew up and when proven to be in the wrong, just deleted the whole thread to try and make out once again that he was Mr Perfection, How low was that and nothing has improved sinse !

The way I see it, my complaints r the same as GPs....we are sick of being told we "don't support Parra" or that we "are happy with poor performances" etc etc.

And as for your reference to you getting told you don't support parra - please find me a post in recent history where me or GP have said that....we, along with a few others, cop and never ending stream of comments about our supposed "love of losing" from Misty, but I don't believe we have questioned any of the Smith Basher's support for Parra for a longggg time......if you are getting told you don't support parra cos of your stance, its not from us.

And finally - no, this whole convo is not an ego trip for me.....its about expecting Misty to stop the never ending crap comments cos I have a differnet opinion to him.

lol, don't worry about what Misty says. She just thinks she's a Goddess because her old LWOS mates gave her Mod status. She has never deserved it and never will, and it's obvious that she has anger management problems coupled with a high dose of pretentiousness.

The likes of Suity and TE are different, however. They sit on the same side of the fence as her, but usually offer decent posts on whatever opinion they have to share, and while they do sometimes make stupid personal cracks at others that's kewl, because everyone does it. If you wanna have a discussion/argument about Smith, have it with the likes of these two, as they will at least keep it largely civil while still being informative and oft hilarious.

If you are so worried about Misty, just put her on Ignore. It's simple and you will never have to worry about her again. Personally, her desire to have everyone engage in sycophancy is water off a duck's back up here in Warrimoo, bu8t if you have a problem then there is an easy way to solve it.
