I think we need to re-assess our KPI's.

They have never worked before, why should the same KPI's be persisted with??

If prior or Jono have better on field KPI's then others at the club, then I need to find a new sport.

Does anyone have a list of our actual top 25 this season? Be interested in seeing what options we have available that wont affect the cap.

Carney was isolated & targeted. That is where the game was won & lost. Ayshford had to be in 2 places at once all day covering for Carney. Same Prior. Im surprised thhe didnt miss twice as many tackles.
& you are kidding if our missing players wouldnt change things around. There is nobody in the NRL with a squald as depleted as ours.

I didn't say it won't change things around. I said the coaching is the issue. They'll be doing the same game plans when all the gun players are back. There's no imagination or skill being shown in any of the Sharks attack and it will remain that way when the injured players all come back.

They will get wins, but they are going to continue to struggle all the way for those wins, when a lot of the time, they shouldn't.

Carney is targetted every single week! So why are the coaching staff and Todd not doing anything about his Appalling attempts at tackling? He goes high whilst backpeddling and every single time he comes tumbling backwards out of the tackle and lands flat on his back 3 metres away from the tackle. It needs to be fixed.

Two ways around this screw the cap, we not making the finals this year so play some young players if we go over cap pay the fine, getting these guys experience could be well worth the fine.

Other option and needs to be looked at asap we have players eg De Gois & Wright who are useless, if the club has any brains wont be at the club next year, if they want to go now and can find a club who will wear there cap here or UK let them go, that then free's up some of the cap for remainder of the year to buy mid season player or assist in blooding youngsters

Because The Sop, Brown & Holmes are all failing in house KPI's. Badly. They are not doing what the coaches say & playing how they want.
Sop will be back though & is being brought into grade the correct way. Goes back to NSW cup & works on deficiencies & builds on the positives & comes back into firsts a better player.

Then our KPI's and the people that write them are pharken useless.

Prior is shit
Wright is shit
Ayshford has major deficiencies in defense.
Carney has the worst tackling style I've seen.

Why can't the coaching staff, that I've been told we should trust, see it??

What do people really expect from our current cattle?

Sure we didn't expect to have all these injuries so early in the season, but considering our main off season recruits were Daniel Holdsworth and Matt Prior, when shit hits the fan like it already has, we have sub standard players in our starting line up. It comes as no surprise(to me anyway)

The problem defiantly lies with recruiting. It has been the problem for the last 20 years. Guys ready for retirement and we throw out a hand. It's an ongoing problem and always will be till we get someone like Peter O'Sullivan to the club. The club needs to understand these blokes need to be on decent coin. It's investing into the future rather than looking for short term fixes e.g Matt Prior

Prior is a depth player and is only in the side because of injuries to Gallen, Tupou & Lewis.

Still, surely there's better players running around for the Engadine Dragons than Prior.

My biggest gripe from the 30-0 shellacking we just bent over and copped is the fact that Soppy got dropped and Prior stayed in the side.
Blind f**king Freddy can see that Soppy is the better player.

When I question @cronullasharks I got told to trust the coaching staff.

I am all out of trust

Id say we haven’t had a bright future ahead of us for years if ever. WE do now and id hazard a guess that when the penny drops to coin an expression players will want to play for a very strong and financially (one probably begets the other) sound NRL club. But we need to suffer just a bit more till that day. In the meantime id like us to shake some stuff up as well. Look if we can’t score tries then give up a tackle or two and kick the f**kin ball back to the other curtis deep into their half early in the count and turn em around. Why the fugg not? I know we are giving possession away but it will put defences in 2 minds and might just open up the edges and sideline when the opposing wings and FB drop out of the line just in case. I mean f**k, we can’t score now. Try some stoopid stuff. I hate to bring up the stains again but they tried all sorts of crap to get there season back on track in the noughties. I remember the game when they turned it all around. They were down as usual by 2 or more tries midway through the second half. They'd tried all the shit they been throwing out for the prior weeks. Then one spark decided to chip and run. It came off, Cooper scored at the end of a sweeping backline. The next set after they scored they kicked on the second and turned the opposition around. The game changed from there. They went on to win and fugging won a stack in a row from there. It bred confidence.

Prior & Fafita probably have the best defensive abilities in our squad. Both can probably play 80 minutes. Pryor will still be in the team when all the troops arrive back as he can & will play front row.
Wright is going good in my books but his involvement needs to be higher.
Same Ayshford but when do centres look good i na struggling team?
& you are saying drop Carney?
I dont want to see Carney make a tackle. ever!

Here's my stab at a wild team.

1. Gardner
2. Holmes (my word is the only chance of him playing grade is on the wing)
3. Taga (On Carneys side)
4. Gordon
5. Ryan
6. Carney
7. Robson. If not ready, Penani.
8. Fifita
9. Morris
10. Gibbs
11. Soppy
12. Graham
13. Heighno

D Fifita
Vave
Arona
Ayshford

The reason I have Ayshford on the bench is if Morris gets tired (I would like him to play 80) you push gardner to 7, Robson to 9 and Gordon back to 1. Ayshford fills in at his preferred position. It's a kick in the pants without cruelling him.

I am very tempted to pick Lichaa in that team. Very tempted.

Positives:

- Prior, Leutele, Wright, Stapleton, IDG and Holdsworth all dropped. Piss off and come back when you are going to have a go.
- Might even score a try with that much speed on the field.
- Two Fifitas on the field should lift them both.
- With the addition of Robson we may force a drop out. If he's not ready Penani with Todd may trouble the defence. May.
- Taga minding Todd may discourage oppositions to not run at him so much.
- Ryan is ready I am told and has been very good at training.
- As reefy said, Gardz looked pretty damn good as our playmaker in the 9's.

Negatives.

- Flash hasn't played in the centres in forever.
- Brown and Taga on the same edge? Sheeeeeesh.
- How gassed in Moz going to be?
- The possibility of Penani, Gardz and Carney defending in the line?

While Leutele hasn't set the world on fire in attack, not that he has been given many chances.. I think his defence has been pretty solid. Wrapped up Gagai pretty well yesterday.
