Regardless of whether the Eels get their man, long-suffering supporters have had enough. One of them, Delor Hermez, has arranged a rally at Parramatta Town Hall branded #ReclaimOurEels at 5pm on Saturday to protest against the way the club has been run.
"Parramatta is a club with a proud history. Great players, great leaders and overall a great club," Hermez posted on social media.
"We have won premierships, bred superstars and most importantly always had a strong fan base. However individuals have embedded themselves in positions within the club with no agenda other than self interest.
"A perfect example is what happened today with the Kieran Foran fiasco. If this is to continue, we will have no club, no superstars and ultimately no fan base. We need the club to stabilise itself or need to place people in positions to do so. As fans, we have had enough. As fans, we will get what we want through the power of revolution. As fans, we will #reclaimOurEels."
The movement is reminiscent of the one led by a core of disenfranchised Dragons supporters, who traded under the SaveOurSaints hashtag.
"We need to reclaim our great club and the time is now," Hermez said. "We want the club back in the hands of people who have its best interests at heart."

P.S. I don't know who Delor Hermez is, maybe someone here.
