They're easy to spot IRL too. They're the ones with springs on their shoes.

given they'd be half a foot taller than the rest of us, i can understand that..

Now I am a soccer fan hey?

Because I defend people rights to support their club, regardless of code, in whatever manner they deem appropriate.

I am a Knights fan, an NFL fan, an NBA fan and a fan of both of these sports at a collegiate level, an F1 fan and a fan of passionate fans.

Never been to a soccer game, never intentionally watched a soccer game on TV.

You may find it easy to spot the soccer fans... but I find it easy to spot haters.

Other sports fans wont hurt you. They arent going to take anything away from you and your club. The sun will still rise in the East, people will still feel that they are always right.

The behaviour of supporter groups does not change anything for you. It makes their experience better.

I haven`t heard giddyup come out and say the wanderers supporters are like terrorists(because they are as passionate about their team as Storm supporters are)or is that just because they haven`t booed him YET. at least giddyup we don`t throw flares, tear up seats or throw drinks at opposition players.
I have never seen a league supporter throw drinks on opposition players when they are doing a lap of the ground celebrating a GF win.
They broke some seats - they didnt cheat 2 teams out of premierships you f*cking goose.

I am a Storm,Victory,Melbourne Ice,Vixens,Rebels supporter. Storm is my number 1 team but I like and support more than one code and it is easy to do.
There is no possible way you will ever have sex again.

So you indulge in the atmosphere of supporting your club at the game?
WTF do you think is atmosphere? All soccer fans do is make noise ffs. Everywhere. Do you ever watch the game?

You guys are drawing the parallels to atmosphere and destruction.
Nope. We mentioned the destruction. You lot defended it, calling it "atmosphere"
"Who is going to fix this damage? The RBB are merkins who dont even watch the game, they just turn around and jump up and down!"

That is the whole point of this thread. Whinging about a supporter group that do things in a manner people find foreign.
You are a genius of ECT levels. Is that the worst thing about wrecking seats - because it's different? Pissing on seats is different too

A group of people (akin to the Dogs "fans" at the turn of the century) are doing things that are not of the intention of the supporter group.
And what those "dogs fans" did was not the intention of their supporter group either - tarnish them all if they are league, but not Soccer. Nice.

I never said it was OK to destroy property. I said that it happens. It happened to me. We broke some seating at Penrith getting caught up in the moment. Did this happen at the A-League? Who knows? Maybe the first damage was accidental, and then a group of geniuss decided to break more and more seating.
Sounds like you are a destructive genius. No wonder you approve of this behaviour. Two questions - were you charged and did you pay for the damage?

Atmosphere.

Just because it isnt the atmosphere the WSW fans create, doesnt mean it is any more or less of a reason to attend.
True. The atmosphere is different, and those who grew up on a League atmosphere know that any other sport is missing something - those things uniquely Rugby League.

I said the atmosphere is the reason to attend.
The only reason? If atmosphere is noise, sit at home with a good set of Senneheiser headphones on.

Saying you go to support your club means you are cheering for them right? You are wearing team colours? You are applauding good play?

You are contributing to the atmosphere of the game day experience.

I apologise if people cant understand that other people support other codes, and other codes do it differently
League fans do all of that you f*cking sped! The only thing that soccer crowd has that League crowds dont is brainless neanderthals yelling and chanting while they jump up and down. I am fairly certain that the soccer crowd was louder. Well done. But it had nothing to do with the sport, and more to do with dickheads with a pack mentality. If you had only one person jumping up and down on a seat chanting something, what would the rest of the crowd think?

A) He is a better supporter than I am, or

B) Sit down you f*cking spastic, I'm trying to watch the game.

NRL clubs would dream of that sort of attendance and atmosphere at a regular season game.
:lol::lol:

The problem with you is that you have nfi. This thread was actually the anti Gallop brigade targetting him in his new role of Soccer CEO over the way he would handle the destruction fans of his code caused. The background is the old Canterbury problems, which were continually under intense media focus (and fair enough). Gallop was very public in his response every time - some say to the detriment of the sport (in so far as it continued the incident's presence in the media). Gallop was also pretty instrumental in the solution with Todd Greenberg as I recall.

You are the brainless nutter who is defending the destruction - even admitting your part in similar actions before.

Wake up you goose. This is the same anti social pseudo-European behaviour that has manifasted itself gruesomely with Pommy neo-nazi scum looting European cities just because some dumb team without the balls to be Hull KR or Castleford Tigers played a game abroad.

If you want to go to a game to jump up and down, rant, chant, break seats and be a general pain in the arse to anyone around you - do not EVER say you are there for the sport. Quite simply, you are there AGAINST the sport.

And again, when that pissant team ever produces someone whose names deserve to be on MY TEAMS stadium more than Ken Thornett and Michael Cronin, I'll run around that stadium naked with "Stan Jurd Is God" painted on my arse with a sledgehammer and break more chairs than you twats could in a f*cking lifetime!

You are assuming again that I am a fan of WSW. That I support the damage that was done.

On the contrary, if it was senseless destruction they should banned for life. I was involved in a group that broke seating in the past, I also saw first hand a group of fans storm a fence so hard that the fence collapsed. These were accidents, and no charges were laid, or compensation required. These occurred out of support for the team on the field.

If you think jumping up and down and chanting is wrong, so be it. If you feel it is more appropriate to sip tea and knit blankets at the game, be my guest. Do as you please. If neither of these extremes suit you, do something that does.

Do not tell other people how they should be supporting their team.

You clearly are carrying a grudge against this particular club because of some suggestions some geniuss made about covering up names on a stadium. It didnt happen, it wont happen.

And the reason we dont see Gallop on the TV every 10 minutes is because he is the CEO of a 2nd rate sporting competition. Not enough people care, other than those whose feeling are hurt that one supporter group got a massive press following because their team from the West was actually winning.

I think you'll find close to zero football fans on here that don't like Rugby League. Rugby and AFL trolls sure, but not football.

The A-League is played in Summer, the European leagues are on in the middle of the night. RL and football should be able to co-exist...no reason for either to feel threatened by the other.

Most are fine. Some MEE and Big Sam are just 2. Can't possibly have a bad word said without comparing to RL. I don't think you will find a person here that doesn't have an issue with something RL does.

I love the Panthers yet have issues with the useless coach and Gus' Dr Phil approach to young players. I can understand we have poor crowds. Those scenes were a disgrace no matter the sport. The fact some soccer fans use the argument 21 people being thrown out is the same as 43 in RL shows me they aren't a RL fan

I find soccer boring and soft. Yet I know not everyone does that's fine. Though it's Australia not croatia or Serbia by all means go to the games but don't bring that garbage here

Was a cracking day out - a few chairs broken. Big deal. Best support in the country.

Did you find any dentures in the rubble?

You are assuming again that I am a fan of WSW. That I support the damage that was done.
I dont care who you support, but clearly you are defending the damage.

On the contrary, if it was senseless destruction they should banned for life. Its no accident if a seat breaks because some mong jumped up and down on it ffs!

If you think jumping up and down and chanting is wrong, so be it. If you feel it is more appropriate to sip tea and knit blankets at the game, be my guest. Do as you please. If neither of these extremes suit you, do something that does.

Do not tell other people how they should be supporting their team.
No one is. We are simply condemning their destruction. You can support a team without being a f*cking vandal.

You clearly are carrying a grudge against this particular club because of some suggestions some geniuss made about covering up names on a stadium. It didnt happen, it wont happen.
No, it ties in with defending a code from violent hooligans - whose main defence of their actions is to pull in the old "polularity" thing. The fact that they even raised the point of covering up Thornett and Cronin was an attempt to put sh*t on League.

And the reason we dont see Gallop on the TV every 10 minutes is because he is the CEO of a 2nd rate sporting competition.
If an NRL ground had 351 broken seats after a game, the entire country would be attacking it. And no League fans would be defending it either - especially on the stupid notion of "atmosphere"
Not enough people care, other than those whose feeling are hurt that one supporter group got a massive press following because their team from the West was actually winning.
Couldnt help yourself could you. Soccer loving twat.

Poznan is a European term and concept that the Ultra wannabes have appropriated for their own virtual reality fantasy realisation troupe. Like capo.

Does anyone get the feeling they just do this, to video themselves on their camera phones, upload it to YouTube, then show the Europeans "hey, we're like you! Can we be your friend?!"

Sad.

Weird.

Gay.
