Personally, I don't question what type of human being he is.We get it bud. You're a hater.
I used to be like that. It's exhausting. I hope you grow out of it like I did.
Chad is, without exception, the hardest working player at the club. He works the hardest on his game, does the most extras and studies leadership in his spare time even though he isn't in the frame for the captaincy. He does a heap of charity work and is always available for the Junior League. He's on a modest contract by NRL standards. He's one of the few guys that will pull Fifita into line publicly when he brats it up.
He is probably the least talented player in the squad too. What he got and where he got to came from hard work. He was halfback in our premiership team.
He is well spoken, marketable and a cleanskin local junior who loves the sharks. The coaches love him.
He's having a form slump- but don't pull behind him. Snipe him. Thats a strategy and a half bud.
The one that couldn’t wait to leave us?If only there were a younger 7 we could have replaced him with
Mitchell Pearce was at the Roosters for 8 years.Personally, I don't question what type of human being he is.
But I'm concerned about your thoughts on Chad being the good guy the club loves.
Club needs to be more ruthless like the Storms/roooters....thet don't perform then pizz them off
Fair assessment. The debate on Chad is a strange one, and it all depends on your expectations of him.
If you think he is ever going to be DCE or Cronk or JT then you are sadly mistaken.
Chad has his flaws, a lot of them, but he is also the reason we are within touching distance of the 8. He is also, a big reason why we aren't in it.
He has thrown some intercepts, kicked when he should have passed and misread the situation against the Warriors, but he also lead the "Baby Sharks" to one of our greatest wins against the Storm.
His flaws are well known, he can't kick long, doesn't read plays well and his passing is slightly above average, but he defends like a demon, has a kick chase like Noddy and puts his body on the line every play. There have been some dumb plays creep into his game this year no doubt and it is frustrating.
What was he supposed to do against Penrith though? Yes the chip kick was bad but f**k me that first half by our forwards was the worst I have seen in a long time. Not one half back in the comp would have been able to get us out of that in the first half, our forwards were disgraceful.
Our kicking wasn't bad but that wind was awful. I was there on the hill and it was so strong in the first half, then died off in the second. Johnson has an incredible boot and he couldn't kick it more than 30m.
He has one more year on his contract and then we have to evaluate where we go next. I personally hope he is moved on but then again there isn't much on the market so he may be around for a while longer. Hopefully he gets himself back to early season form.
There are bigger issues in our team though: Our forwards running sideways and also carrying one of the worst number 9's in the comp.
Cameron Munster at the Storm.A good guy he is.Mitchell Pearce was at the Roosters for 8 years.

All you said there is what I'm saying with a whole bunch of compliments about Chad the guy. I don't care much for Chad as a human , I support the sharks and nrl and I care about Chad the first grade half back.
Modest isnt getting paid more than Maloney, modest isn't the reported 750k
He is on equal money to Fifita and Dugan
If he was on a modest contract then he wouldn't be a target. If he was playing to his abilities and not costing us games this year with dumb plays, He wouldn't be a target.
