For mine, the only stats that matter for the halves is winning percentage. Ours dont hold a candle to the top performers like Cronk and Keary...never lost a finals game in consecutive years. Ours cant even steer the team to qualify let alone secure back to back rings in straight sets.

We had Tedesco and couldn't make the finals. He goes to the Rosters and wins two comps. I think we need to develop a top squad and then make those tough calls.

If Mitchell does come over I think the guy who will benefit the most is Luke Garner. We saw how he became a genuine line breaker this season. Imagine how much more dangerous he’ll be when defenses see Latrell sweeping in behind him when Brooks goes to the line

Also, Benji is one of the very few players in the game who could teach Latrell skills he’s never even dreamt of such as passing to himself and advanced stepping without tripping the defender accidentally.

We're odds on imo

Unless this was a ploy all along by his manager to get some spastic club to pay a crazy 1.5mil a year for him and since he didn't get it, goes back and just re-signs with the rorters

Probably Thurstons presence is a danger as he has ethereal talents to pass on. Way above your average vanilla immortal.

If the cows report is true, that they signed Holmes, then we are the only ones left, as I understand it.

And that would not have happened, if we did not retire Mataulino, & allow Masters & the other bloke to leave.

Halfway to a great outcome IMO. Still got $700k to spend?

I hate to say this but I agree with you. I hope he comes and plays fullback and kills it.

The thing is this odds on is miles away from an actual signing. Then he has to perform at fullback. I don't think he is worth that much money in the centres.

All these deadheads such as Freddy, robbo and Anasta are whinging and saying he’s not good enough and too lazy for fb.

Those kinds of silly opinions in the press have served us well. Plus there is no way LM should play second fiddle to valentine in recruiting.

LM will be a great fullback, elite players can usually master many positions.

Latrell in space will be formidable, a horrific prospect for many defences, especially in last 15 minutes.

A Benji special

Yes, I mean if he isn’t feeling in the groove for a full 80, he could come off the bench and explode just before half time until he finds his feet.

Ease him in.

He hates being compared to gi, but I think he secretly wants that challenge. Gi was on another level. His key attribute was his footy intelligence. He made so many good decisions.People just consider him as powerful and all that but he was ultimately sharp of mind. Grossly underestimated on that front.

Not sure he was good upstairs in the maths department though. The field goal will always be my fav memory of GI :joy:

But agree he was a beast, and you gotta respect him for going to a struggling club like Souffs at the time and helping them win a premiership

True, not his best moment lol.

But he had a knack for finding gaps on edges!

I thought Ben Teo was pretty important for them that year.

I thought the whistle blowers were pretty important for them too that year

I was shocked when they caught that Ben Hunt knock on v cows gf, but they made up for by wrecking the entire season in the gf this year.

Just in case anybody had any faith in the nrl, the officials dispelled this vicious rumour.

they rob us of a gf and it’s heads on pikes time. Set rozelle and Camden ablaze!

I told my wife last night 'if this happens im buying our daughter a Tigers jersey and getting 'lil Latrell girl' put on the back of it'.

The idea of even saying my favourite non-WT player could be joining WT just blows my mind. I love watching LM play. Why else would you even watch a Roosters game?

153C1D43-7FB4-4B2B-AA42-5658E25B8A81.jpeg Yesterday, young Latrell so seemed so far way,
Now it seems he’s close to being here to stay,
Oh I don’t believe in yesterday,

Suddenly, the Tiges are twice the team we used to be. 1.1 is cheap for qual-ity.
Oh I don’t believe in yesterday.

Why Nick let him go, I don’t know he wouldn’t say. Latrell said full-back please and robbo longed for yesterday!

Exclusive: ‘You can play for Norths’ — Roosters powerbrokers’ final insult to Latrell

Roosters powerbrokers are so off Latrell Mitchell they have spoken about the Kangaroos centre playing reserve grade for North Sydney next year.

If Mitchell and his management don’t hurry up and make a decision about a new club, then he could find himself in NSW Cup in 2020.

Mitchell currently has a four-year deal worth close to $4 million on the table from the Wests Tigers for 2020 and beyond.

The Roosters want Mitchell off their roster as soon as possible after the strike centre rejected a deal worth $1.6 million for the 2021 and 2022 seasons.

The Wests Tigers have rolled out the red carpet to try and sign Mitchell and are awaiting a response.

Mitchell still has a deal to play for the Roosters for next season worth $750,000 but the back-to-back premiers are preparing to play hard ball by making him play reserve grade if he wants to stay at the club.

Yes but the point is we are close...We have seen us on fire at times with a seemingly mediocre team ....Benji wants nothing more than to get his surprise extra man creating passes to someone that can bust a tackle ..who’s done that lately ...So the try assists stats are important we just need a couple of stars added to our roster that can help compliment our halves and we could easily just explode
