Dufty is fast and young. I would love him here on a non-ridiculous contract. I like the way he plays, but hes still filling out and learning the role.

I think they graded him a year too early.

Good, maybe worth a look at.

I reckon that is okay assuming his attitude is good. How much was Hass paid ? We paid top dollar for Suli and I think he was worth it if he had a good attitude.
Storm made a massive offer for him, we just matched it.

Just looked it up, Dufty, is he any good?

Dufty is the same height as Thompson. He's fast and a good finisher, but he's not too crash hot in defence. Widdop was constantly up him to try and get him to talk more and organise the defensive line but he never seemed to get it. He's 23, so he's young, so he might respond to some specialist coaching, but who knows. Dufty is on contract until the end of 2021, so if he can't get a gig overseas, he might be worth a punt as Dylan Smith's understudy if the Queens are paying all the freight. He definitely on the outer though.

Hahah hell no to Dufty. I'd only take a fullback if they were more talented and equally committed as Thompson is. Otherwise whats the point?

If we sign a fullback Thompson will move to wing, where he goes alright. Another option would be to get a f**king excellent left winger and keep Thompson at fullback until someone becomes available

So basically, sign Addo-Carr and keep Thompson until Tedesco has a road to Damascas moment and comes back home

If (big if) we signed another fullback and were a chance of getting JAC up here i could imagine Bellamy asking for someone like Thompson in exchange and that'd be a bummer. Cory will surprise a few in '20....when he declared that if Latrell came he would have to fight him for the No.1 i don't think he was kidding......" A hungry hound hunts best"

I’d luv for the 17 players who get selected each wk to have Thommos fortitude & integrity.

He is a true professional. Check out the Instagram pics on the net, he has turned up for preseason ripped as f**k

Thommo very popular because he frigging tries.

And Moses stfu about poor Latrell and his existential crisis on $1m a year.

There’s kids on my street who go hungry and have frigging nothing and probably never will.

When you regain your form, when you try like thommo, you can say what you like.

And I’m one of your last True fans out there my (gifted) son.

I feel like pissing on the leg of some of these “ look after your family” footballers. Buy in or you can f**k off.

Self righteous, self flogging ponces. Start having a go ffs.

If Thompson had the forward pack in front of him to get the go forward / momentum that all these so called much better and bigger fullbacks have he’d be much better too..He’s been stuck behind a workmanlike forward pack that don’t disgrace themselves but don’t really do the backs any favours either ...backs always look better with better forwards...Next year We have the 2 or 3 new forwards add the regulars Aloiai, Cheekam , and Garner and one or two improvers who maybe added a bit of muscle and attitude .. ...and with that extra punch I think our backs will impress more especially with maybe one addition in the backs as well..although it sounds like some of our backs might be transformed fitness and muscle wise as well...I suppose we should expect that from a premiership winning coach

Its clear we all love Thompson for his effort, but I just don't think he is quite there in terms of what is expected out of a fullback. He's safe under the high ball, backs up when players make a break and has very good pace. However I can't recall a single try assist he got all year. A fullback needs to be able to chime into the back line as a second receiver and setup tries. Tedesco is a f**king master at this because players freak the f**k out when he gets near the line and can usually draw players in. I just don't see Thompson being able to do this.

One thing I will say about Thompson, I reckon if he didn't get injured in the warm up for the Sharks game we could have won that. Momo was in great form at centre and looked very out of place at fullback.

Anyway, now that Lomax is gone I think we should close the book on finding a fullback for this year. Go hard for Addo-Carr, and if that fails just bring in a bunch of juniors and front load salaries so we can go HAM for 2021 onwards

LM is odds on to go back to the Chooks, smoke the
Peace pipe, than mid season accept a deal to extend way under market value. Of course he will get market value through other sources, like the odd game of golf or one his family landing the cleaning contract at the training ground. Okay call my cynical but I bet that is what pans out

As for Thomo at no1, we could do worse but he is not a no1 that is going to get you into the top four. Although if we can not land a top notch no1 he will do to we can get one or developer one.

The other option is to revisit Moses M at one, that way we can get Talau into the backline

I think CT has to be in the team, if MM goes to FB, who replaces him at centre & what position does CT occupy.
