Apparently several different radio stations confirmed Sutton and several different stations confirmed Reynolds.

I fail to see what we get out of Reynolds apart from him giving Farah a 15 min spell even though Farah plays 80 mins everyweek. Atleast Sutton gives you actual impact if you play him as an edge backrower for example

I think the problem with NSW is that we're still in love with the idea of a bench utility who can play dummy half because of how well Craig Wing did a few years ago. If you have a player with Craig Wing's ability and especially his sharpness than I can understand the selection but Reynolds, Gidley and Buhrer haven't got that, all you do is weaken the team when you bring them on to replace Farah

Why the f**k should I support a team that for the longest time has harboured every mediocre Knight, Rooster, Bulldog and Dragon under the sun but ignored quality players at Souths (And yes, I'm aware of how few there have been in the last decade)

In fairness, the first 2 pages of the thread are congratulations to John on being picked. Then the NSWRL correct their mistake and the rest is sheer disbelief at the ineptitude of Daley and the NSWRL.

Given that we have 4 representatives in the QLD team and South Sydney fans generally want to see South Sydney players do well, I can see why they feel this way. If Sutton would have been picked then they would happily have stuck with NSW.

The NSWRL couldn't have botched this up any worse from a South Sydney fans perspective.

Yes we have been snubbed, but that is nothing new. Nor is NSW picking the wrong players

NSW will lose more and more supporter the closer Queensland get to 10

Fmd, what is Reynolds going to bring apart from penalties to QLD?

The only way he gets a start is if there is an injury to Maloney, Pearce or Farah, because you sure as hell don't want to be replacing them with this scrub unless it's through necessity. If a back goes down, you've got Lewis and Bird who can shift out.

How Tim Grant didn't get a start just sums up NSW's ineptness over the good part of the last decade.
