95% of this forum loved him for 2 years despite it being obvious how pathetic he was.

Don't know about that. I remember a lot of people being livid with his selection. I'm a proud Ennis hater. He's garbage and is the anti-clutch. He came up with the worst possible plays/boneheaded decision making in Origin and handed games to QLD single handedly. He has no business playing rep footy.

After his dust up with Myles (if you can call it that, he swung a punch and then sprinted for the hills) the forum blew up with people calling for his head and rightfully pointing the finger at him for turning over possession and handing QLD the dubs.

Daley picked Gidley straight out because of his utility value to play in the hales and hooker. Exactly what Reynolds is able to play.

My choice would be Sutton though. He's been in better form than Reynolds

Not a fan of Ennis, but to be fair, Robbie Farah did exactly that last year --- we're down a point with a minute left, & he drops the ball getting up to play it. Accidents happen, bur why did that one happen? Because he was screaming & sooking at the touch judge instead of watching what he was doing.

Was terrible from him. & Game Over for us.

Daley wanted Sutton, my understanding was he was going to be brought straight in before Daley talked to Fulton, and Fulton wanted Reynolds, just as he wanted Buhrer a few years ago. I wouldn't doubt that Fulton is the reason we have had Gidley for so long too.

Now look at his squad this year. Pearce (chosen before a ball had been kicked this year), Gidley, Gallen at prop, Lewis in the starting line-up while Watmough warms the bench, & on & on it goes.

The "train off" isn't unique to Daley. Meninga did it last year when slater was ruled out. Brought in Bowen abs Nielsen as he wasn't sure where he was going too play inglis.

I think the makeup of qlds bench has daley second guessing what he wants too do
