Souffs fans never fail to disappoint. According to them we wont win origin because John Sutton of all people didnt get picked.

He is a nuffy.

I'm sure you want to see Dragons players do well. If you have reps only in the NSW side or in both, it's easy to support NSW.

When you have 4 players in the QLD team and none playing for NSW, it becomes a tough selection.

Why would we support a team full of players that we hate on a weekly basis?

There are no Souths players in the NSW team so there is no buy in for Souths fans.

There is 1 Knights player in the QLD team (if he passes the fitness test) and now none in the NSW side, But I am damn sure not going to change support to another state over something as petty as my team not having players in my state team.

I think sutton shouldve been there but to e honest Daley showed his hand by picking Reynolds and sutton to take over kurt Gidleys spot who is a half/five eight who can play hooker. He obviously wants that type of option on the bench in the first place. He should've just brought Reynolds in anyway as replacement and brought sutton in as 18th man instead of a stupid 'train off'

As much as I don't rate Sutton, he has improved markedly under Maguire, and is easily better than Reynolds. I would have preferred Grant, but if it's out of Sutton and Reynolds, Sutton wins hands down.

Edit: Didn't realise Bozo was still around to f**k things up. Surprised he didn't force Daley to select a Manly player.

Out of the two I wouldve gone with Sutton. Cause if you pick Reynolds you dont play him off the bench. He either starts or not in the team. Farah plays 80 minutes, there's all these what ifs. I mean judging by Daley he might not even play. And I remember last year we tried to bring in Buhrer and he was a waste cause Farah played the full 80.

Shouldve gone with Sutton as he would play as a ball playing backrower when he comes on.

I'm passionate about South Sydney not state of Origin and with the anti Souths agenda I've gone for Qld since 1990, not even when Wing and Fletcher played did I go back to NSW as they felt like blow in Rabbitohs. When Ash Harrison made origin by playing great footy at Souths that gave me a reason to care about going for Qld and this will be the same reason this year with Mcqueen playing. I have a soft spot for New Zealand too because of Luke. I go for Souths only with a passion so city v country , test matches and SOO depends on what rabbitohs make those teams, I don't see whats wrong with that.

You sure know your footy.

I wonder if Dailey picked Reynolds as a tactic, in order to rule him out of the bulldogs game. Loz has officially lost it...

Speaking as a guest on Fox Sports show Sterlo, Daley said Reynolds would be primarily used to cover injury in the halves and at hooker and would not guarantee the Canterbury-Bankstown star game time if everything went to plan.
Asked where he would slot Reynolds if Mitchell Pearce, James Maloney and Robbie Farah got through the game unscathed, Daley said he was "unsure".
"Where I'd play Josh is going to be the unknown," Daley said.

Brain dead decision re. utility. It's not early 2000's rugby league anymore, players can do the full 80 and are versatile.

QLD will win 3-0 comfortably, Daley and Bozo will get the sack and Stuart to be recalled for 2014

F**k off idiot, there's clearly a NSW agenda against Souths with this latest ridiculous decision. Why the f**k should I support a team that for the longest time has harboured every mediocre Knight, Rooster, Bulldog and Dragon under the sun but ignored quality players at Souths (And yes, I'm aware of how few there have been in the last decade)

f**k off and support Qld you sooks.

Even though i don't really see the value in Reynolds (would much rather have preferred Grant tbh) maybe if during game 1 while Pearce is usually being his shiity self, Daley might actually get some sense and decide to hook him from the field and replace him with Reynolds.

If you were planning on hooking Pearce why wouldn't you run with the superior Carney or Sutton?

I think the problem with NSW is that we're still in love with the idea of a bench utility who can play dummy half because of how well Craig Wing did a few years ago. If you have a player with Craig Wing's ability and especially his sharpness than I can understand the selection but Reynolds, Gidley and Buhrer haven't got that, all you do is weaken the team when you bring them on to replace Farah
This. Big Big problem. It needs to stop, Sutton and J Reynolds shouldn't of even be thought of to be honest. If we are going to get a 2nd rower for impact (which Sutton would of been used for), why not use an actual 2nd rower with impact - T. Sims, Wade Graham who have been playing well and screams origin impact imo. Or another prop could of been better. People saying Sutton would have worked would be wrong, but also J Reynolds isn't going to work either
