Rugby: Sonny Bill struck down by injury

TOULON - Toulon's New Zealand backrow forward Sonny Bill Williams will be out for three weeks after picking up an injury at the weekend, the club said today.
The 23-year-old, who controversially joined the French Top 14 team from Australian Rugby League's Canterbury Bulldogs last month, was hurt during Sunday's draw with Brive.
Williams sparked a media storm earlier in the summer when he left Australia mid-season to switch codes and play in Europe, despite being only one year into a five-year contract with the Canterbury Bulldogs.
The Bulldogs dropped their legal battle to prevent the loss of their player, accepting a reported $750,000 cash settlement.
Toulon's South African hooker Christiaan Liebenberg had to have a hand operation after being injured in the same match, and faces a lay-off of up to two months.

how petty can some of you guys get....ok i understand when people bag him out for leaving, others didnt care but sit there laughing at him when he gets hurt is a bit much.

If some company came knocking on my door offering me a huge pay rise..yep ill take that to the bank thank you very much! no one here would knock back more then they earn, so who cares that he chose money over league...deal with it and move on.
