I really want to see Third Eye Blind do the popular songs everyone knows (Jumper, Semi Charmed Life) but I won't miss one of the above bands to see it. Also would like to see Sum 41, Slayer, Terror and Alesana but would only fit them in if there's no one else playing. I wish Adema were playing, between them, Sevendust and Ill Nino that would complete the trio of bands I was obsessed with around the time the nu-metal trend was going on.

Oh dear.. every ounce of hate I had for this festival has flown out the window with the prospect of seeing Coheed and Protest on the same day. There had so far been a heap of bands I'd been slightly interested in (due to nostalgia etc.) but Coheed and protest... my oh my.

where are the aussie bands???

they usually only have one a year, so its mostly international bands. amity affliction r the aussie band next year

There's a few Aussie bands at No Sleep Til; Parkway, Confession, House vs Hurricane, Break Even, Heroes For Hire... I think with Soundwave though I'd rather they bring in internationals instead of Australian bands. We can see them play multiple times through the year.

Bloody pumped that Saxon got added to the lineup, but seriously, they've got to not add any more bands because there are going to be so many clashes. I'm sick of missing bands I want to see at these big fests because of clashes.

A little bird tells me that a Social Distortion/Gaslight Anthem co-headlining show for Melbourne will be anounced in the next few days.... I've pulled some money out of the saving account in anticipation. Hopefully the same happens in Sydney.
