I would have thought the promoters would have sorted all the relevant approvals prior to selling tickets?

They don't even have venues confirmed sometimes when tickets go on sale, Sydney Soundwave was at "TBC" before it went to Eastern Creek the first time.

Yeah I'm weighing up the pros and cons:

Pro - Great line-up
Con - I despise festivals

f**k it though, Maiden sold me Dimu and some other good bands were a bonus.

I missed out on tickets for the maiden sideshow so this is the only way I can see them, will be a good day though allround me thinks.

Social D are on at 1:20 in Melbourne and there's not very many timetable clashes which I'm very happy about. I'm afraid it'll be a toss of the coin between Maiden (who I've never seen) and The Bronx who are both headlining their respective stages. Also Gaslight Anthem headline their stage. There's gonna have to be some compromise on my behalf.
