Two things can be taken from this game

1) Souths havent improved.
2) Paul Mellor still has what it takes to compete at the highest level.

I think souths have improved but with all the injuries they have at the moment they were always going to struggle.

I will add a few more points though which is that Joven Clarke is not up to 1st grade standard and never will be and Polglaise is definately not a 5/8

Just when you think Souths can compete, i mean in the few weeks they beat penrith and canberra and had manly on the ropes last weekend at Brookie at half time...They put in a performance that reminds you why they are constantly at the bottom

That I agree with...Tony De La Haras is the only decent referee in the NRL at the moment...IMHO it is a shame that he hasn't been given more games.

This was also his second game with the whistle...
