Oh who the f**k knows - fuggin arse clowns.

I think it was because I posted a PM one of the cockheads sent me.

It was the usual sort of stuff, gaylord hypocrisy puttting the pink slipper into Souths.

Welcome home Punton.

I know what its like to be under heavy mod/admin fire. Ive sailed close to the winds of suspension here myself and was bludgeoned hard on another famous site that led me here in the first place.

Ordinary mum and dad posters here, people who avoid mixing it up with the powers that be....they dont know what its like to get those dreaded pm's. We have fought hard so they may be free to post and celebrate Souths in their own way.

Our cause is the cause of freedom loving posters and Souths supporters on all forums everywhere.

As a reward I am giving you a 7 day signature recognition for your services to Souths LU.

And btw you didnt miss too much either!

I commend to you a period of R&R for a time so you can stay with us!

I am always pleased to be of service of to the troops Punton. An example needs to be set to the footsoldiers of Souths LU that our soldiers can return from combat. Survival is possible against some stupid, inbred, destructive, dictatorial & vile rogue moderators.

Indeed I do have the capacity to find out who really owns LU.

Sugar himself knows that I speak the truth in this.

If I dare, I too can look into the face of fear!

I can reveal to all the human masters of our LU universe.

Yet when given the opportunity, I must admit that I have shied away from seeking out this dark and mysterious truth.

Like you it is my calling to be an ordinary trooper.

When my forum needs me, I simply attend and fight (with words-actual violence is against LU policy).

Wherever the name of Souths is used in vain, if I am aware of this ugly and undeserved breach of the peace, I shall defend our name.

I ask not what are the reason for the battle.

Such questions of profound and serious nature are matters I should not be concerned with.

And while we battle against the forces of darkness, I know and I have seen with my own eyes, the side of enlightenment and entertainment on LU. Things that you would be impressed with, things that justify the existence of LU in cyberspace and things worth supporting the forum for.

Whatever fracas you find yourself embrolied in Punton, I beg you never forget that

LU's enemies are also our enemies.

I know not too much about this "furrycat".

I know of the name but in truth.. I have all but sailed over furrycat and cannot recall a bilateral spat of any consequence that I have had with that poster. I may have had one in my travels, but I dont remember.

But I do know of foul and dispicable people whom I think should not enjoy the comforts of LU.

To name them here would cause some angst.

They are in for a difficult season courtesy of us.

They know about it, they have started allready.

I hope they have their lube at the ready.

.................................................................................................................................

Anyway, this is the trivia thread, I volunteer to return it as such. You see we dont have to bossed around here like children. That is why we are considered as the forum of the free.

Q: Who was Wes Patten?

Q: What NRL team did Ian Roberts end his career with?

Q: What position did Steve Mavin play?

Q: Who was Jacin Sinclair? Why was he allegedly sacked by the Tigers before joining us?

Q: Jacin got into trouble for making a gesture when he scored a try for us, what was that famous gesture?

Q: I saw Craig Coleman last year. Where was it?

a) Outside Downing Centre Court.
b) Corner of Chelmsford and Abermarle Streets Newtown.
c) Chinatown precinct.
d) Woolpack hotel Parramatta.
e) None of the above.

Q: The Refern express tackled the brick with eyes!

What is wrong with that statement?

Q: Where did we finish in 1988?

Q: Who was Wes Patten?
He was an actor on Home & Away.:p
Seriously though he was a halfback that played for Balmain, Gold Coast & Souths

Q: What NRL team did Ian Roberts end his career with?
NQ Cowboys

Q: What position did Steve Mavin play?
Centre

Q: Who was Jacin Sinclair? Why was he allegedly sacked by the Tigers before joining us?
He was a troubled centre at Balmain that came to Souths and was one fo the guys targeted for the betting scandal. He then went on to play for the Roosters then back to Balmain and finally back to Souths. I know he came to Souths during the 94 season when he was sacked from Balmain. I forget the reason, but heard that there was an incident that several players from Balmain had him against the wall and wanted to kill him.

Q: Jacin got into trouble for making a gesture when he scored a try for us, what was that famous gesture?
It was a try against the Roosters in 94. He poked his toungue out at the Rooster fans on his way to scoring. When he did score he looked straight into the camera and showed his enjoyment of scoring.

Q: I saw Craig Coleman last year. Where was it?

b) Corner of Chelmsford and Abermarle Streets Newtown.
A shot in the dark....

Q: The Refern express tackled the brick with eyes!

What is wrong with that statement?

They never actually played against each other. Fahey retired before Lazurus started playing.

Q: Where did we finish in 1988?
We finished 8th that year. That was the year that we lostour 2 points for putting Scott Wilson on against Manly at Brookvale. We ended the season with 12 wins and 2 draws.

3 out 3. Perfect. He was the fittest player I have ever seen.

Q: What NRL team did Ian Roberts end his career with?
NQ Cowboys

Correct.

Q: What position did Steve Mavin play?
Centre

Correct.

A good analysis, but I am looking for the reason as to why the Tigers players put him against the wall.

Correct. Well done

Q: I saw Craig Coleman last year. Where was it?

A shot in the dark....

No luck here ask Rabbsy!

Q: The Refern express tackled the brick with eyes!

Perfect

Q: Where did we finish in 1988?
We finished 8th that year. That was the year that we lostour 2 points for putting Scott Wilson on against Manly at Brookvale. We ended the season with 12 wins and 2 draws. Magnificent finish

Sound knowledge of the rabbitohs which he appears willing to impart for the class's benefit.

2 remain unanswered and until a hand slides up out of the grave, thats where they will stay.

Until then:

TRUE OR FALSE:

Fetuli Talonoa is heavier than Beau Chamipon?

Ian Roberts "outed" himself in public whilst playing for Souths?

Ziggy Niscot belted Rod Reddy in the jaw in the 1981 finals series.

Ken Stewart only ever played for Souths.

Mario Fenech never played a game at Redfern Oval.

Paul Stringer played one test for Australia.

Charlie Saab never played first grade.

What is wrong with the following:

A recent Souths home match. One of these things is wrong:

1. Did Scott Geddes rip through the Panther pack like they were made of crepe paper?

2. Did Priddo spill the ball upon being tackled to lose the Panthers the match?

3. Did Gowie kick an awful bomb that went almost backwards?

4. Did Mark Minichello score a freak try at the end of the match?

5. Did Merritt score in the corner?

6. Did Todd Polglase score first in the second half?

Good luck class.

Don't worry Punton, I was banned for a week last week to. Seems they don't like us Souths fans sticking up for ourselves ;-)
