Standby Newk...answers tonight. You did OK but youve missed some I know you can answer.

OK..how did Newk go?

1. Neil Baker never played for Easts. Did you know: that Neil is the 11th highest scoring rabbitoh of all time? In 4 years with us he scored 501 points, comprising of 15 first grade trys, 205 goals and 31 feild goals. Thats an average of 125 points per year. Our highest point scorer this year was joey Williams who in 15 appearances scored 1 try, 41 goals and 2 feild goals. Neil was a glamourous player in many respects.

2. Correct newk: On the 2nd of june 2007, we lost to the storm by 16 points. A little more than a month later we lost to them by only 4 points, when they scored in the last minute of the match. The storm went on to thrash Manly in the Grand Final by 34 to 8. One wonders whether we could have beaten the Strom in the Grand Final. A school of thought exists that we almost certainly would have, had we reached that match.

3. Correct about Wing but not about Sutto. The last round match in 2005, Sutto created absolute havoc when he ripped through the Sharks line. They had no answer at all for his massive step and insidious elusiveness. One day he will return to the backline, where he belongs.
