Yes because we have our best players out of this game Dugan, Merrin and Morris. Having said that we still have Widdop and Benji and you guys can't take this game lightly.;-)

I'll put money on Runciman popping a ball for Mata'Utia as well. If we are any chance we have to grind this one out which we have only done once this year

I love the little merkin. He's been a hoot.

Appreciate the votes of confidence most of you have given (since the time he signed, truth be told). I'm glad most of you still back him (compared to the rest of LU). Reality is, he's been a revelation (and that's not just because he replaced Walsh).

I feel as though Sowie deserves a big game this weekend. I (obviously) hope he gets it. He's got a lot of crap flung his way, and he ought to shrug it off.

That said, good luck this weekend. Most of you have been really (unreasonably!) kind and supportive, and we appreciate it.

One only needs to read a bunch of the posts in this thread to understand why he said what he said about our fans.

He had his fanbase, and still does. He also was the subject of vitriol from a pretty hefty contingent of our fanbase. He's a player you're either a fan of or not. He had no shortage of detractors within our fanbase by the end of his tenure.

One thing is for sure, he was as passionate as you can get as a player in our colours for quite some time. He loved the club and went out poorly.

It's good to see him enjoy his footy again. One can't deny that we have one of the most passionate and abusive fanbases in the league... He's stating the bloody obvious about what will happen with a large contingent of fans at the game.

I wish soward would come against a full strength dragons squad.

who knows in the play-offs saints may be 8th and panthers 1
and then they play off

I'm just glad Jamie left before he started this gun slinger crap, would've been dead set embarrassing in dragons colours!

i wouldnt have cared at all if it meant in order to do that he was running 50 meters scoring tries and playing as well as he has been this season..
he could do a nudie run for all i care..

I think some of you are being a bit precious. He bled red and white for your mob & now the media are just trying to spice up a pretty average weekend of football. You lot always have a pretty good contingent show up at Penrith, hopefully it continues on Saturday. You might even give him a little cheer when he runs out. He is the same lovable little merkin he has always been.

To be fair... The same reaction comes from us at the mention of Lewis' name

Nothing in the story. It was always going to happen. I expect similar for the return bout being his return to WIN and all

He only ever needed a good coach that would instill confidence in him. He's a terrific player when in the right frame of mind. He was playing with a heavy heart (unwanted by the great coach) towards the end here at the Dragons and the passionate type of guy he is that was never going to work. He is a match winner, you guys are lucky to have picked him up.

Jamie can go Miley Cyrus and and start twerking after scoring for all I care as long as he is happy and playing well.

Up until he came to Penrith I was certainly a 'hater' of his, he was one of my most hated easily but I love him now, best half we've had since Gower and a real competitor, twice has won as games in the dying minutes this season with his vision and skill.

Anyway goodluck on the w.e hopefully its a good game, got a feeling the thumb will play well.

Can't wait for this game to end so we don't need to listen to his continued gripe with our club, the pot shots and to belittle the redv fans who supported him is stupid.
Whatever criticism he gets is bought onto himself.
Was sceptical when he signed for us,became a favourite and has now moved on,i'm more concerned with our own players now.

Our edge forwards should be up in the face of Soward and Wallace all night if we are to have any chance of beating the Panthers.

Out of curiosity what where were the potshots? That line about the tickets?

You guys didn't have Walsh...Don't know how good you had it. His try against Newcastle was great given the situation of the game. The fact that his next touch he set up Moylan shows his class.

He's scored 3 tries this year all individual efforts. We haven't had a half do that for about 10 years
