Maybe the secret deals have finally got out and the players feel betrayed. We know from De Belin's court records that his salary was 550k and part of that was long service money. So what are players like Frizell, T Sims, Graham, McInnes and Vaughan are being paid?

JDB situation is a small part of the problem but other things like games plans, being told your not requried and general unrest are bigger factors by a long way.
It's the whole place mate

That makes more sense, this seems to be a festering problem. The JDB situation is more of an explosive issue not a slow burn.

Some suggest Norman likes to play whats in front of him & to a lesser degree stick to a plan.
If so maybe he's bucked the system a bit & has a bit of support which doesn't suit Teflon L plates bash & barge.
Just a thought but what are the chances of Hunt hooking up with Walters should he take the Titans job? he seems to play well when Kevvie is around him.

Good post
I think Hunt would love to play for KW
Hunt IMO has always looked like a square peg in a round hole and even more so at our club.

This is depressing reading.

When you’re winning, you can paper over the cracks but when you’re not, it’s inevitable cracks appear.

What alarms me about this is the one “strength” he had in being a good “man manager” is no more. So, it therefore follows he isn’t good at anything required to be an NRL coach.

Toovey or Griffin need to come in for mine for the next 2 years. I think a hard and competitive edge is needed.

He was never a good man manager .. he was a mate manager which was fine when surrounded by mates .. but when he actually has to work he is shown to be the great pretender.

A man manager is a bloke who can take a difficult personality and mould them into a premiership winning player ... Bennett and Soward a perfect example.

100% correct
Many in this place fooled themselves into believing all the shit written about the great Mc Fookknuckle being a wonderful man management person.
In recent years he had the shed whilst ever they were within striking distance of making the semis but now there is no chance, so he is exposed to all the elements of a team that knows its season is well & truly over and now he can’t rally the troops for a single decent effort.
The bullshit he is now spruiking and his willingness to start throwing others including players under the bus is like a poison and the players aren’t going to swallow it.

Forgot to say that unfortunately we are now going to lose a few players who have not been treated well and they will go to other clubs and hopefully prosper whilst others within our club know they should have been retained and the coach was the one who should have been axed.
A deep chasm is being created and it will get even bigger before we hit rock bottom
We will be left in the most precarious position of any Sydney based club as we will be seen as the absolute death knell for any promising career.
