If any of the horses below them win the Lexus and/or Mackinnon, they may as well kiss it all goodbye.

Big Memory is easily the most talented horse in the Lexus imo but its a quirky prick,one day it over races fiercely,the next its hanging like a maniac around the bend taking out horses left right and centre,who knows what this horse will do next,bite the barrier attendants probably,i can't trust this psycho with real money.

Another piece of Melbourne Cup statistics.

Out of the 73 international horses that have contested a Melbourne Cup and didn't have a lead up race on Australian soil, NONE have won the big one.

EDIT: This is bullshit. Vintage Crop did it in 1993 without a previous Australian start. I've been told a furphy. But I'm quite sure it hasn't been done since.

Adelaide Race 2 - No. 3 - Corvidae - $2.70 fixed odds. Probably give it a miss - damn five horse race.
