Should apply for a cap discount ASAP.

I had high hopes for him, probably got it training too hard.

Indicative of effort, but we need a full investigation and inquiry.

We can’t have players breaking down and being wiped out at pre season.

Terrible news, just f**ked.I hope his heads ok as well.

Like I always say to you, is it untrue?
Both knees are f**ked. We’ve got 18 games out of him since he signed here and that looks to be all we’ll get out of his contract.
Why re-new?

Well at the time, he was looking handy.

Very young, a Panther junior hero, massive work rate and an astonishing tackle efficiency of 98.4 percent.

You could bet the adverse balance of 1.6 percent was attributable to one or two of our boofs getting in his way.

At least wait to see what his prognosis is before deciding to put him down.

This is not a Brooksy scenario where the funeral was pre paid in full by round 6 in 2019.

You gotta laugh or cry at the misfortune of this club.

Nothing ever goes right.

The players who are busting their arses at training and who display actual effort get injured or suffer some kind of unsolicited profound duress.

Meanwhile the squad loafers play in first grade for months, are signed for years on massive overs and then consider themselves unfortunate if they somehow miss the captaincy or other leadership role.

The injury is suspected only, pray, pray for Blorey.

Time to piss him off.
Always injured and not very good anyway.
Probably right in as much as it has to be thought about, whether actually done or not depends on a few factors such as asking price and other contenders for the slot in the squad and 30 man roster. Agree, he has had bad luck with injury, not his or the clubs fault. Sometimes, if a change of club is to occur it is necessary to break that hoodoo that seems to dog the poor bloke here. Anyway, I feel for Blore- 1 step forwards in progress and equally made to take that step back with injury.

it’s not a 100% fix but I was reading that proper knee guards can help prevent acl injuries.

If true, we really should consider making them compulsory.

Instead we build gps devices into balls to determine forward passes.

No player deserves an ACL injury. It’s a real blight on the game. It really upsets me.

At any given time, in our sport, the percentage of players with injuries is way too high. This would not be permitted in any other professional sport in the world.

For all the crap I give players, underneath, I think they are all courageous and brave young men, and I honour that aspect of their participation.

There was that comparison of a properly lined up tackle being the equivalent of being hit by a car at 40 kph and vice versa.

Matt’s has not been the same player since he tried to tackle Russ. Matt’s is almost 2 metres tall and weighs over 17 stone, a massive unit, smashed into oblivion.

Puts footy in perspective.

As young footy bloke at work said on Friday, “players are human too.”

Things to come

In my chat with him tomorrow, I am going to explore what’s on his mind during an actual game.

What prep he takes in, what’s on his mind and all that goes into his head.

This is a kid 11 years in the game, gave up at 21 and has been invited to the roosters 2022 launch.

I think it will be interesting.

Then post my results here for everyone.

If anyone has any questions about this aspect of the game, let me know and I’ll get your question in.

Hopefully a first for LU.

Shut the f**k up lol….

You’re just dirty on the kid because he shamed you about Scholari.

The omnipotent great footy sage of this grand forum and the junior at work rips you new one in about 3 seconds.

That one forumer who ripped into Douhie all year, until the actual players choose him as team hero.

Then there was a sullen and Iess than enthusiastic half-acknowledgement from you. Half an eyebrow.

No shame, remorse or contrition either!

Lol what are you on about?
Why are you sucking the balls of a 21 year old who never made it and gave up on his dream? Man the hell up and grow your own opinion instead of regurgitating the thoughts of a bloke who has barely lived.
As for Doueihi, he was shit in 2020 and even for periods last year. He was better as the year went on, but still way off the pace of the elite…and now his 2nd knee reco will really affect any serious chance he had of reaching greater heights.
What was the point you were trying to make?
