I think it's perfectly conceivable that the trbjojevics (or at least Tom) to be on more than three of walker, Matai tapau and myles.

A player just out of the 20's (Tom Trbjovic) who couldn't make his teams top 17 playing for the club in the area he grew up in is:

1. On more money than a current State of Origin front rower (Myles) who has been enticed to not only move clubs, but move states?

2. On more money than two players who have played for their country and been enticed to move clubs (Walker and Tapau)?

3. On more money than a multiple Kiwi international (Matai) who wanted to either head home (NZ) or to where his wife is from (Gold Coast) but was enticed to stay?

I personally think Buhrer would be the highest paid of that Nines list. And I think it's at least possible he could be on more than Myles and Taupau - two blokes who don't play 80 minutes.

Yes could be.

He resigned with a few clubs including us after him too didn't he? Could be him I guess.

Mules is getting on and wanted to play with DCE. Tapau wanted out of the toxic tigers. They may not have cost a fortune.

And Matai has reportedly been on unders for a long time. Not sure that he'd be top bracket at this end of his career.

Mateo could also be on some decent money, Manly were desperate for forwards when they signed him and may have back loaded his contract. Wouldnt surprise if he was on $400k this year probably more the Tapau / walker who probably are also on backloaded contracts.
