John Falou what a useless lump, so glad we have two more seasons of him.

Besides Norman and Semi the rest didn't offer much at all.

What do you want us to say??? We were really poor, it's only hit and giggle but we looked slow and lazy.

I thought we just looked slow. Even Semi and Norman looked off the pace.

After Norman ran out of puff mid first half it was the throw it to Semi and hope show again.

You are right though, it looked like every player is off the pace. Hopefully we are just turning up as is required and putting no effort in.......

i don't really know why we are seen as one of the more likely teams to win this - equal third favourites with the bookies coming into this ..... we really don't have a strong team for this tournament

We performed well at the last two Auckland Nines, where did that get us? Everyone chill out.

I don't think the pace was the problem I just think we lacked direction and execution... I don't think our boys have actually trained to play this tournament...

First thoughts are that we played as if it was an NRL game when is possession ,little learnt other than one side kicked well and other played a power game and didn't use their backs or space.

Morgan again guilty of poor positioning, but Falou still has major issues in defence, you can get isolated for sure in 9s but should have made better tackle efforts in general

I'd rather be slow and off the pace at the start of the season, then slow and off the pace at the end

I think a lot of the media expectation was based on last year, where Sandow carved them up.
They seem to have forgotten Sandow is now in the UK.:lol:

It certainly isn't slitting wrists time or anywhere near it. We are allowed to have observations.

And as fans who have seen too much of this for a majority of this century it is only natural that we would worry. Every year we say the same thing, "it's only a trial" or "its the 9's, who cares".

The same traits is what scares us for the upcoming season.
