Tyrell could potentially be a smokie for a centre spot sometime during the year if he wants it bad enough. Needs a big off season.

It's not like back ups falou / Vai are stand outs in NSW cup last year.

Kenny was training with injured players late last year alongside the rest of the squad.

I was told later by an Eels staffer that he actually wasn't meant to be so maybe they just don't take pics of him or something.

Pauli was at training today along with our most recent recruit in Honeti Tuha.

Edwards was absent although I don't think it is anything to worry about, I believe it is just personal leave.

Semi should be back tomorrow.

I'd select him ahead of Ryan Morgan just based on his 2015 reggies show reel.

a mate of mine who knows his shit described him as a power type of player and is not the quickest. Depending on how they play he starts the sets well, good left foot step and has a pretty good work rate. Played a lot of full back coming through but his passing game is not nrl quality.
Needs quality inside him defensively as jams in a lot.

Meanwhile Kelepi Tanginoa says he’s happy to be back at Parramatta after a short stint with premiers North Queensland.
“I am excited to be back. It’s a privilege to come back to where you started from and I know most of the boys so it’s pretty good to come back and feel like you are at home,” Tanginoa said.
“I know most of the players here. I have been here for a few years now.
“I went away last year, but I’m back and I’m really excited to see what is going to happen in 2016.”

If we can't get the best out of this kid no club can... He's a 'creature of comfort' type player, if the environment or surroundings don't suit him you can forget it

Kelepi looks to have a much better playing physique coming into this preseason. While it was undoubtedly impressive to look at it, the ultra jacked build he sported in the last 2 years set him back on the field a fair bit.

Jamming in is usually the best thing for these big wingers. "Stay on your f**ken wing!" is pointless against an overlap, and having a big fast bloke flying in from the runner's blind side forces plenty of errors. Not to mention the intercept.

Yep. Made him useless on the edges.

It could have been why he was off the field so much. Probably overworked his muscles in the gym so when he was on the field his muscles were fatigued and caused slight tears. If he can get that quick step before the line his speed and low centre of gravity will be very good for us on the fringes.
