I just wonder how Blaize is feeling right about now.
Ethan Sanders is currently in reggies.

How long until Ricky pulls the trigger and plays him its not like Fogarty is playing badly. In fact some may argue he is still there most important player.

Ethan Strange isnt going anywhere.

So where does Sanders fit in the next 12 months.

If he is still in reggies midway through the season i would be tempted to ask the question to bring him home as we have a vacancy now and put pressure back on Ricky in a way to make a call Fogarty or Sanders.

He'd be fine. Cleary will get the best out of him I reckon. Like with Browns offer, Blaize really had no choice.

I reckon there is a chance he may ask to return if he doesn’t make as a 6 at Penrith.

Listening to people around the Junior Reps, including Ryda and Hayloh's mum, that Blaize's path was blocked long term and that is the primary reason he left.

I never saw Blaize play 5/8th, I saw him play half in Matts but never 5/8th, and then in Ball and up he played centre, but from what I heard he thinks he is a 5/8th, that's all I am saying

In 2021 he played six games off the bench and four games at five-eighth, including the Harold Matts grand final. The next year, aged 17, he played seven games, all at five-eighth, with Lorenzo Talataina playing most games at halfback. It wasn't until his first/last year of SG Ball that he came back from injury late in the season, and they stuck him at centre because Sanders and Lynn were already killing it in the halves.

He made zero kicks on the weekend, and also a bunch of handling errors. However he made 18 tackles without a miss: https://www.nswrl.com.au/draw/nsw-cup/2025/round-1/panthers-v-jets/
One of the handling errors was a bombed try. Don’t know what he was doing but had the ball knocked out of his hands basically over the line.

it was his first game, so deserves some slack, but if you were watching and didn’t know anything about him he wouldn’t of rated a mention. Not that many of his fellow team mates were much better, the jets were worthy of there win.

He got run down! If he had reacted quicker to the break and offload he would have scored.

He will be in first grade by round 10

Agree he still needs to work on his speed..

Jenkins was your best player. Schneider was bad especially in defense
Certainly Tom Jenkins did well, really nice kid, just one of those players probably too good for NSW Cup but not quite NRL standard other than a fill in appearance here and there. Asu Kepaoa likewise he was very good, ran for over 220 metres, powerful with every carry, but probably similar to Tom just not quite up to regular NRL plater week in week out.
