Gee there are some laughable pace attacks around the world these days.

To be fair, Sri Lankan and Indian seamers would hardly get to play in conditions like Australia or NZ offers. They'd be more or less redundant at home.

Doesnt mean sending the opposition in with an attack of medium paced plodders was the right move. The bowling this morning has been dreadful. Latham got out to a poor shot nothing much to do with the bowling.

All things being even, bowling first was the right choice. As much as they might not have the seam attack to take advantage of these conditions, I'm not sure they'd want to be facing Southee/Boult this morning.
