The Ghost of Debauchery Past would still be haunting where The Captain's Disco was.Mi hermano, if you'd only witnessed some of the real debauchery. I have some wicked (in the evil term) stories.... Reefy, Sticky, Flange, chick's, players etc.
It wouldn't be a matter "if the walls could talk" it'd be more of "how did this carpet get so rank" type thing.
Not to mention the trips getting home...
f**k yeah....had forgotten about Simple Simon's. They were sensational too.Best Milkshakes in Caringbah back in the day. Teamed with a pie from Simple Simon's the other side of the station stairs.
f**k the Taj....would rather eat my own shit than go there.St George leagues or the 10th green at Kareela
The only thing St George Leagues ever had going for it was Sizzler before the latter went the way of the dodo.f**k the Taj....would rather eat my own shit than go there.
takes a year from when they get the sign off at a minimum to do all the interior workLegit? Bloody hell.
I moved down to the shire in 2019 when the mrs was 7 or so months preg. Before being a local I had to drive so never got to do a session there. I still remember when RCB told me it was closing and thinking how long 2022 was to be able to enjoy it.
Are the apartments finished? I can't imagine how those waiting for them feel these days.
This place is stuck in about 1985. And the only thing that gets built is dodgy cheap apartment blocks and crappy sub standard houses in suburbs with nothing to do.Just another example of what a joke Australia is these days.
I've just returned from a month over there and, I'm sad to say, I just don't miss Australia at all.
Aside from the exorbitant pricing on everything, things like construction delays and blow outs are just expected and accepted.
Over here we had a major construction project going on beside the motorway which runs through Nakhon Pathom to Ratchaburi.
My wife and I were out for lunch with her niece and the niece told us it was going to be a new "Central Plaza", which is a giant shopping mall chain over here. The nearest one to use is in Salaya, which is ~45 minutes away.
At the time I remarked "it'll be 3-5 years before that's ready".
My wife's niece laughed and said "no way".
Sure enough, 18 months later a massive, multi-level shopping mall, with a fit out to rival what we have in Oz is up and trading.
Way too much bureaucracy and red tape in Australia.
