Yep sucks you right in. The only reason I keep watching is to look at those little things that I'm familiar with in a new context to give me those pangs of nostalgia. The star destroyers, the light sabers, the storm troopers.

I think the story has lost me at this stage. There are really only two central characters an they just seem like uninteresting teens to me. bah humbug.

I'm enjoying the new trilogy for what it is, a bunch of fun, fantasy popcorn flicks and nothing more. Looking forward to the finale.

If you don't put Star Wars on a pedestal then you have a better chance at enjoying these films for mine.

Yeah but its definitely not lazy writing, its "necessary" for nostalgia and for those fans who might have forgotten what happened in the original trilogy
