Same old story...whoever scores first in the second half will massively affect the final result.

Geez the Maroons look good. Lovely play there for that last try. This is such a better game than game one.

Champion team. No doubt, always find something when they need it.

I hope the Warriors are watching the passing in this game.

When does NSW get put out of their misery and they call off SOO? :)

They need two games in Sydney...oh, hang on.

"All sixteen clubs represented tonight." I liked the sound of that. Lillyman played about 35 minutes (and didn't start, when the game's at its toughest)? He should be right for Saturday.

Great game but I can't wait to get back to club footy.

Part of it will be ridding themselves of their ridiculous mentality that blames referees year in, year out. It's in their camp (Daley did it after Origin I obviously), it's in their 'legends' (Fittler having a sook last night) and right throughout the Sydney media. They're either messing with an uncontrollable in the belief they can change it, or are just complete sooks. Either way, it's hurting them.

Meanwhile, Queensland just get on with performance and doing what they do best. Including Bull, I didn't see the game but from all I read he just did what makes him successful for us at club level. Tough, uncompromising.

Eh, the QLD golden generation is starting to feel their age.

Hodges went last year, Parker going this year, Thurston going next year, Smith & Cronk won't last much beyond that, Slater already effectively gone. I doubt guys like Myles, Lillyman, Thaiday & Scott will continue much (if at all) beyond Smith or Cronk - and how effective will a 30+ Inglis (already showing some signs of wear and tear) be without all-time greats like Thurston to isolate him 1v1 repeatedly? The guys to come in (Morgan, Hunt, Milford) are all good - but they are still steps down.

Significant transitions rarely go seamlessly, even in the best environments with the best replacements... I doubt this dominance will continue beyond a couple more years.

hope gallen maloney and graham are to depressed to play well on saturday night

Hearing an upset Gould go on about the need for 'cultural change' and the 'influence of several individuals needing to go before we achieve anything' I swear he could've been talking about the Warriors.

I'd say Gallen would be in his sights.
