Tamou would have been ideal but he was never under consideration. If Freddy's been watching Cleary and Maloney, you'd think he'd have been watching Tamou as well. I feel he is about to discover the folly of using second rowers and locks as props.

From a Panthers fan perspective, I hope Fittler's team changes come off and the Blues win tonight. Then Cleary and Maloney come back confident and on a high and keep progessing from how they have played over the last two games.

If they lose and lose badly, then the media beat up on Cleary will be even worse than after game one, and they will be blaming him and calling for him to be dropped for game three.

Hardly going to do his confidence and focus any good, given the scrutiny he has already been under this season being coached by his dad, Penriths bad start, and his large contract extension.

Hes having a good game linking with Jimmy. And his defensive pressure has resulted in 2 turnovers aswell. And dived on a loose ball after an intercept for a fresh set. Effort plays resulting in 3 sets in great territory.

I went for a piss as Jimmy kicked instead of Cleary. So i noticed his limp later on. Not sure how bad it is.
