Given the cap over there of $3m Aust not sure he would add more to it. He has won everything he can here as it is. I think it will just motivate him to push on here

There’s two marquee players per squad where you can go beyond the cap. He’d easily get that role.

Origin is on the Sunday, so our next game isn’t until the week after.

But if they’re both out after game 3, obviously Luia would play 7, maybe with Blore at 5/8?

They'll both play excluding injury since it's on Sunday. No different than a club game as far as backing up is concerned.

In that case I can see Nathan playing being a young bloke and Luai covering Maloney. Otherwise we get Egan in the halves with Luai.

Round 17 is the problem. A Friday night game 2 days after Origin.
You would think Luai would be one half and one of Cleary/Maloney back up.
