eel4life, spot on, the time for a big change has come and we need someone to come in and do it

mooks will do well over the next 2 years and we need to trust what is going on, Nolan is working his backside off behind the scenes to strengthen our depth and junior programme.

Put everything in perspective how well do you think Anderson would have gone with the same team this year? He had a team that made a grand final in 09 then added Poore Timana and Shack, we went from Grand Final to nothing.

DA inherited a side he didn't ask for and took them to the Grand Final in his first season. We'll never know what he could have done with this side, or any side he formed because he was never given the opportunity to do so. And last year doesn't count, because he was a victim of his own success in 2009 in a way. A lot of players were re-signed or had contracts upgraded simply because they played a part in our late season run that got us to the GF. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

As opposed to your vast experience of watching benches used?

Maybe Kearney should have watched as much footy as you obviously have.

His bench rotation especially in relation to our hookers is garbage as you are f**kwit. Go on try something witty again you silly keyboard warrior dumb merkin.

So since you know everything why don't you tell us what he should have done differently.

Not every team uses 2 hookers in their 17. Especially when they don't have a good running hooker to bring on.

Otherwise you're just swapping two blokes who tackle and pass from dummy half. Keating handles that just fine over 80 minutes.

But you know everything right?

I'm the keyboard warrior?

Yep, and I could also understand some pressure in the forwards too, will be quite an emotional year 2012 for a lot of us, unfortunately changes have to be made and this is when it starts

Gee. And I thought 2011 was emotional.

No you are just an annoying f**kwit that needs a bitch slap. Keating is not an 80 min hooker. That's my point.

I'll answer that question. In my opinion first grade should take precedence no matter what. It should be put first at all times. So if a younger player can benefit from a couple of games in first grade as opposed to languishing in the lower grades then play him there for future development as just those few games could help your side next year.

With the exception of Ken Sio, there's probably no young player worthy of a call up though.

Fair enough, personaly I wouldn't rip the guts out of a team who have played together for this long. If any of those teams are close to finals or whatever, they should stay together and see it out. That's what teams do at this stage of the year. It's more for your teamates at this stage of the year rather than your own aspirations. Taking a bloke out of Wenty or U20's could cost the team the aluded GF trophy that they have been playing for all year. That's just me though.

I thought Keating was very good again today. Made all his tackles and did enough to deserve to be a winner

Yeah I know what you mean and that makes sense. I just think when it comes to professional sport you have to put first grade above lower tier levels first at all costs, because that's what really matters. You're not going to attract new sponsors and members if your feeder club wins the NSW cup.

Been supporting them since 1976 and this is without doubt the most frustrating season that I have had to endure.

Some of my thoughts:

1. Hayne is an instinctive player with a strong running game which has been non existent since he moved to 6. Quite frankly I think he isn't smart enough to play 6. I would put him back to fullback in 2012. For mine our season turned when he got suspended for the headbutt against the dogs and then he lost confidence when he was not picked for origin from that imposter, Ricky Stuart. He however needs a massive rocket during the off season.

2. It is not acceptable to come last no matter what the circumstances. Kearney's pig headiness re: Mortimer is a concern as is the over reliance on Keating as an 80 min player. He simply is not. Maybe that is why he signed the cardboard cutout McGuire to rotate with him. He for mine has really showed his inexperience with his bench rotation. If we do not make the 8 in 2012, he should be out on his f**king ear as should Osborne and the board.

yeah agree with what you said with Hayne, that dog's game was a turning point. On Hayne he just dosn't have a big enough bag of tricks to be a play maker at this stage - but not having a half doesn't help. He is definitely putting the effort in, but doesn't have much spupport in the play making duties. Looking forward to next year when he goes back to fullback and one of our attacking moves will be to get him one on one with the oposition - Roberts and Sandow will do this quite oiften.

On Mortimer, I didn't think his form was that bad before he got dropped. I get the feeling his dropping and the lack of recall over the last 6 to 8 weeks may have more to do with trying to force him out of the club due to his large contract which doesn't refelct his current playing ability - can't really give it to Kearney if this is what he is trying to do.
