I thought we could do some damage without experienced halves but the loss of Stewart puts us out of the picture imo. Making the 8 should be the goal now, and blooding Hoppa, Hodgkinson and Foran.

a golden opportunity to blood young Hoppa to the FB role, please dont put Robbo back there.

But yes, its going to be a challenge to make the 8

They are no chance at the 8 with Robertson at 1.... wonder if Desy has learnt that lesson...

Thought they would just make the 8 with stewart.....

Big blow for NSW- even though Hayne hs no idea how to defend at fullback no doubt he will get the gig....

Yeah Hopoate would surely be your best option at fullback but something tells me Hasler won't put him there unfortunately...

Manly made the eight with Robbo at fullback for most of the season though?

He wasn't totally to blame for the terrible first month or so tbh.

Robbo at fullback is a better option than T.Williams anywhere.

people seem to forget that we made 5th spot last year without stewart.. if we can blood these halves and get hoppa into some first grade.. i think we are in with a shot at the 8

Get a grip Manly supporters. He is not a one man team. I agree, we did get to 5th without Vrett last year & i think we have a better team this year. We also have a few young blokes that want to make an instant impression & keep their spot in the team. A struggle against Parra this week i am sure. But lets get past this week & see what Des can produce when we meet Newcastle in Round 3. Lets be positive

Stewarts injury is a blessing in disguise, Trent and Foran are going great at the moment.
