Storm fat cats dished up the cream

Theres been a select few Storm fans who have acknowledged this scandal in the right way and you have to admire the position they have taken & have empathy for their difficult situation as fans of a club in crisis.

However in this forum the majority of comments from storm fans have been ones of denial & outright arrogance. They are making it more difficult for those remaining fans and deserve the condemnation we give them.

StormChaser, don't bother. People on here won't listen about wanting to support the club and only believing what is stated fact not a report in a newspaper that gets sh*t put on it daily in this forum for being useless and full of sh*t.

Its just not worth it.

i am genuinely concerned about a few storm fans who appear to be in serious denial and what will happen to them under extreme stress if it was ever proven that players were involved i wouldnt wish a mental breakdown on anyone

Bloody well said.

Stormchaser, I genuinely feel for most Storm fans, as you pointed out, the fans didn't cheat and yet you're the ones left holding the bag.

As 84 has touched on, it is this arrogance from the players and the club which has really worn thin.

In my opinion it's typical of the bullsh*t Victorian attitude "we are the best at everything" that has permeated through this whole saga.

Can you honestly say the club is remorseful for what has taken place?
ftr I'm not Victorian, I'm a born and bred Sydney girl, and the remorse thing, the people who are guilty within management are gone from the club, if anyone else is found guilty they'll be gone too, so why should the players or people left behind feel remorse?

See this is what's pissing me off, this idea that Storm fans should be tiptoeing around the forum not raising our voices and licking the collective arse of every non storm supporter because your precious feelings have been hurt.
What more do you lot want from us?
There's ONE person making ridiculous threads and carrying on like King Tard from Gronkonia, yet we're all lumped in the same boat. Sins of the fathers and all that.

I'm done being the whipping girl for my club, I'm finished with biting my tongue and I'm not apologising for supporting my team to the end, whatever that may be and I'd expect no less from anyone else (non-troll) around here.

Doesn't anyone get it? The reason storm supporters stick by the players is because at this point they're still innocent, regardless of what the telecrap "allegedly" says or what other fans think they know.
No if I was to say "players must have known" and after its all said and done and they're in the clear, who's the idiot then? Me! How good of a supporter would I feel then.

Ide rather support them and be wrong, then not support them and be wrong.

Oh fer fooks sake! As a Storm fan I've had enough.

I'm all for innocent until proven guilty and that's how I view the players at the moment. Storm players, do the right thing by the long suffering fans you play for and the rest of the rugby league fraternity in Australia; do what Deloitte request and present your contracts. I can understand player concerns about having their salaries leaked but surely there can be some measures put in place to ensure specific details aren't leaked.

If you've got nothing to hide then man up and do the right thing. If you're found to be in the know then take your f**king medicine be it a pay cut, getting yourself deresgistered, moving to another club etc.

For the love of Christ, move this thing along in as timely a manner as possible so we can start over again and the new administration at the club can set about rebuilding the club we love.

Pretty good post Les.

Mate, it's just how I genuinely feel about this whole sordid affair. If any of the players are proven to have cheated then I wouldn't want them at the club any more than a player who was convicted of beating up his missus or found guilty of sexual assault.

Storm fans deserve a lot better and so do fans of other clubs. If players own up, they'll have to deal with the stigma of personally being singled out as cheats but let's face it; that stink is never going to wash off anyway. The best the players can do is own up and let the innocent party in all this, the Melbourne fans, move on with a new chapter in the club's history.

I don't support the court action as I don't see what it can achieve besides having the disiplainary procedure reviewed, but fair play to the independent directors for choosing to pursue this course of action. Hopefully it doesn't carry on much longer and we can all move on.

when you consider the news that they haven't presented their contracts yet has already been leaked to the media i can understand them taking deloitte's reassurances about their privacy with a large grain of salt :D
