Word has it that the Broncos want to get rid of some players naming Joel Clinton & Aston Sims.

I think that they would be a good signing for the eels pack for 2010.

Sims was in the Fijian team in last years WC & is said to get on well with Hayne.

As for Clinton i have heard through the grape vine that he wanted back at the panthers & also has been said he wanted to play for the eels (before he made grade at the panthers)

I thinks either of the 2 would do well at the eels.

Sure. I mean we've still got plenty of room in the pack. We don't need Hindy, Fui, Caylo, Mannah etc.

I say punt 'em and sign some underachievers to take their places.

Clinton is over the hill and injury prone, Sims is just plain crap. Teo while talented has the heart the size of a pea(just ask Tigers fans) Setu looks promising but he also has failed to deliver. Much prefer we invest in Allgood and Johnson.

Lee Te Maari and Brad Morrn would strengthen our pack more than those two.

I'd quietly look more at Josh McGuire from the Broncos, only 19 and has huge potential. I know he was a Parra fan growing up and his family are huge Parra supporters. I know the Eels were keen on him but he signed with the Broncos because the family live up there and it's a big ask for a young kid to move away to Sydney.
