Waite got us to two grand finals. Andrew Farrar (another nice guy) was then seen as the best guy for the job.

At the time Waite was doing everything he could to keep Mundine. This was at odds with the club's then perception of professionalism. In fairness, it was pretty messy all round.

Add to this the pressure from Illawarra and then boom-tish, we sack our best coach and elevate his assistant.

No problem there, thats the story of every club under this democracy thing.

If you were privatised, you would be happy.

Running the club would be someone elses problem and you'd make the finals too.

Democracy is un-Australian anyway. Theres no bill of rights in the constitution. We do what we are told and we enjoy it too.

I watched the 79 grand final last weekend and it's been many years since i saw it and you could see the difference between Bath and Brown by the way the team was drilled,diciplined and just the simple things, like the variety of plays and how the team was gelled as one...

Are the reasons why we haven't won a g/f since then related to this theory of rookie and/or as new coaches...

Having a coach like Sheens would definately not hamper our chances of a g/f, we have heaps of young players who would definately benifit from a Sheens run club...

I say give Nathan 1 more season and pending the outcome of the teams performance decides if i think we need to rid Brownie.

Yeh, hard to judge browny on this years performance, we had a lot of bad luck...

This yeah if he cant pull out a good regular season performance he should be given the chop!!!
