The thing is that Hayne has played brilliant the last 2 weeks, shows you what a complete farce the Supercoach points scoring system is the fact that he got like 36 and 45 the last 2 weeks

They need a new points scoring system next year

Yeah, Thurston is gone this week. He's become a passenger. It's not even a supercoach thing, he looked f**king useless, just catch and pass, didn't look remotely creative.

Scoring system is fine. He just did SFA after halftime.

No it isn't,scoring system has too much emphasis on attack

Needs for more points for defensive plays

Points for try saving tackle/Points for 1 on 1 tackle
Points for defusing a bomb(Can't believe there isn't points for this)
Points for cleaning up in goal
Extra points for tackling someone into touch

Etc etc

Point stands, he did SFA after halftime. If he was good enough in the first half to score so much, then what happened in the 2nd half??? He couldnt even score 20 points for a respectable 70.
We cant have a 1000 scoring options....next you would want points for a fullback packing into the scrum!

How many points do you think it's worth for Kasino packing in at hooker (he generally always packs the scrum at hooker)? How many points would pritchard and tolman getting for actually letting him hook the ball?

It might favour attack a lot more than defense but you know how the point scoring system works and which players are consistently scoring well by now.

Wrong, try saving tackle on Jack Reed, defusing bombs where the wind blew it all over the place, cleaning up in goal

All those things are key defensive plays in rugby league and should be awarded points

New scoring system :

Defusing a bomb when wind is blowing from the north at 15 knots : 10 points
Defusing a bomb with no wind : 1 point
Defusing a bomb with 2 opposing players within 2 metres of the bomb taker : 11 points

Happy now?

Better than last year when everyone had the same team.

I suggested this recently, if they're giving points for forcing dropouts they should be giving points for saving them too.

The others are a bit subjective, what if it's a two man tackle? I guess you could give 1 point to each player involved but it's a bit messy.

I think the system is a lot better than last year anyway.

Defusing a bomb is the most difficult thing in rugby league, trying to catch a ball that is 800m in the air whilst thirteen 110kg blokes are running towards you trying to kill you,no idea why your making fun of that

Correct Sir but unfortunately the points scoring system isn't a reflection on how well a player played,i have seen geniuss like Fonua and Merrit score over 50 on multiple occasions just because they scored 1 try and in the same game they did absolutely nothing else

I dont want to get into a slanging match, but you are a Hayne fan boy and completely slanted towards him

Meh no clue what your on about,i have nothing against people getting rid of Hayne from Supercoach, all i said was that he played really well the last 2 weeks that's all

Supercoach points isn't a indicator has to how well a player played

I know that. I dont base how great a player is on fantasy points. However, Hayne is not performing for a 300k plus player in SC.

Definitely that's true,im thinking of getting rid of James Seg for the same reason because 46 and 33 isn't good enough for a 274k player

Funnily enough Hayne and James Seg are playing well

And you want to get rid of Farah cause he scored 69? I will prob keep Hayne and dump Thurston, but depends whats out there.

LOL i overreacted there,i'll happily take 69 every week

Im thinking of sacking James Seg for Mr Millford from the Raiders

I also have Josh Mansour sitting on the sidelines worth 277k whom im potentially looking to divorce
