Watched "Battleship" on Fox last night for the first and last time. What a rubbish movie.

The only good thing to come out of it is that finally I have an answer to the age old question of - Who would win in a fight between a physically superior Alien being in an advanced exo suit and a prosthetic legged, crippled ex American army officer?

The result was surprising to say the least... I always used to wonder, but I was never ever sure of what would be the outcome until now.

I seriously think that a 4 year old intellectually disabled monkey could write a better movie... In faeces.

 Meanwhile, the guy next door is locked in a court battle about how his bill 'mysteriously' jumped by double despite there being no real change in his day to day usage :sarcasm:

I lived in a share house (221b) where we had that situation. Really low bills all year and then, when we call to say we're moving out, we're asked why we didn't pay bills for 221a all year.

Turns out the place had been two flats and the owner had just knocked the walls out. Never told us electricity was still supplied to two separate addresses.

Classic. Did you end up paying?

There is nothing sadistically funnier in life than seeing an umbrella blown inside out.

Unless you're going straight through the source (Telstra), the Internet situation in Oz is a crying shame. And Telstra are rat-shit.

If you're lucky enough to live in an area where you can get ADSL 2+ through someone other than Telstra, then it's not too bad. I'm with iiNet personally, and their customer service is only about 1000x better than Telstra.
