I should definitely not get a plasma though right?

LCD's are light based, and so their contrast will be seen better in the day. Plasma's are darkness based, and so their contrast will be seen better in a movie cinema experience.

Depends on your set up. I still favour Plasma's from a movie experience, but I recognise I'm in the minority...

Woke up like 300 hours before my alarm was due to go off and couldn't get back to sleep. Makes me so angry.
So you woke up at 6:14pm on June 22?

Or you set your alarm for July 17, 6:14pm?

Keep an eye on Aldi abp. I know the name brand have a reputation, but a majority of the lesser brands have the name brand panels. The panel is the most important part in the unit. Mum has a 58 inch she got from Aldi for 880, and it's comparable to the same screen you'd pay 1800 for. A lot of the cheap stuff has Samsung panels, for much cheaper.

Off to watch Storm & Broncos purely in the hope that Scott Princess gets laid the f**k out.

Aye, plasma is fine. Depend on what your using the TV for. Sport or gaming you're better off with an LCD or LED. Movies and general TV a plasma. Projector for if you're an awesome merkin.
